Please can we have the daily/weekly email updates again for threads to which you are subscribed?  I think you killed off  a lot of traffic when you stopped doing those.

The latest measure of adding in an additional page to confirm you want to leave the site when you've clicked a link is extremely annoying. This isn't  compatible with comping and just adds unnecessary time to an already time consuming hobby.  The people on that forum are leaving in their droves. Why are you making the forums so user unfriendly? I've been on this site for years and wouldn't want to leave but all these changes are making it difficult to stay. Really disappointed.

@Gerry1, if you're using windows, then ctrl+U will underline highlighted text.

Something similar may well work on other devices too, but I cannot check that.

It leads you to a new MSE page such as....


.... and you have to click on the link on this new page to get where you want.

On "Competitions Time" just about EVERY thread has a link to a third party site so you can enter the competition. This feature is UNIVERSALLY HATED and could lead to yet another tranche of users deserting the MSE forum.

I've been a diehard MSE fan for my comping, and stuck through all the changes...for better or for worse. But this 'you are now leaving' page is the final straw. It unnecessarily doubles comping time. If this isn't changed, sadly I'll be taking my comping elsewhere.

As you may know, the Forum is built on a platform maintained by a third party who will sometimes make security upgrades on our behalf. Other features we have built specially for us.

This was a platform update that we hadn't anticipated affecting us just yet but we have now removed. If you see it again, please let us know, reporting issues via ForumTeam@MoneySavingExpert.com. That way, the team is directly notified and we can investigate and solve issues much quicker than raising them through discussion on the Forum.
