Hello Compers,

We've been keeping an eye on this thread all day. We're chuffed to bits so many of us have given us Comp-liments. Just to repeat: we really appreciate your patience and understanding. Today's been a big day for us and we're now focussed, as Kirsty said above, on the next bout of development. 👍

Getting used to it, colour scheme seems ok to me and will probably manage to put up with the blank space at the sides. Main problems remain of course (Search, hover etc all the things that Compers really use a lot), but as we've been told in a recent post, they are apparently really wanting to keep Competitions Time going and are working on helping us. Frankly, this change is easier to assimilate than the change from the old green site to the one that has just been replaced.

I've been thinking - yes again (I can't help it ) 

I am feeling so much more at peace about the forum since MSE Kirsty explained about the situation (See page 4 of this thread) and reassured us that improvements are in hand, starting with updating the naff search system.

I might be wrong (for a change ) but I'm also guessing that I am not alone in feeling this way, as there hasn't seemed to be so much angst expressed about the old changes since Kirsty's post.

So, I was wondering, as a gesture of trust and appreciation, if it is time to close this thread now. Feel free to disagree, after all, this isn't my campaign, it's ours. I'm going to give it a few days to give you lot time to moan at me, and if you haven't moaned enough, I will probably add a bit to the title and the start of my OP to say that this is closed. I'll link to Kirsty's post in the OP too, and will then ask MSE to close the thread.

Obviously, that wouldn't mean we can't still talk about it freely in CCC and/or site feedback.

I did also wonder about doing similarly with the petition, but people are still signing it, so perhaps it's fairer to keep that open, for the time being at least?

I'm not fussed as I haven't used the new shrunken competitions time so it doesn't matter to me what functions are missing from it

I will do my best to keep posting whatever comps I find (which sadly isn't loads) and will cross my fingers that others hang around. xx

i just want the ability to search for competitions that I want to enter rather than looking through 70 plus pages for a tv competition for example. I can't understand why it's still searching subfolders (in particular Game over) when i've purposely excluded searching subfolders.
