Rach - hugs to you. You're doing so well with the organisng but make sure you keep remembering to breathe! I love christingle and we have one at school next week. To me that's the start of christmas though I think the school is so brave with 240 children with a lit candle!

Juliejimb - sounds like you're going what I went through on Sunday night. I really don't do sick and I hate 'wearing' it! Hope your littlie is feeling better soon.

I've finished work for the day, picked up the prescriptions and dropped them at the chemist to pick up tomorrow, bought a few groceries, walked the dog and sorted dishwasher.

    Jobs to do this afternoon;
    1) Sort out washing
    2) Print out complaint to British Gas
    3) Finish Christmas cards
    4) Master bedroom
    5) Unload dishwasher

Think that's it for today. I have a banging headache that really doesn't want to shift so think I might have to take something for it.

Catch up later when i've done my list xx

    hello all

thanks for all the nice comments, you are so right, bite-sized chunks are the way to go!

assembly was good this morning and made me almost weepy as they said goodbye to me as i won't be in again! also managed toddlers, to take a lot of the christingle stuff, buy most of the rest and have lunch with my dad before dispatching him onto the train for an afternoon out :)

i now have just over 2 hours to get my head around the christingle and then am having coffee / chat / weep with great wise older friend :) tonight is brownies and then a meeting but that should be ok as most people can't come so i guess it will be pretty informal.

and i really need to tidy up but that can wait...

also, have a guy coming next week to quote for moving my stuff.

Afternoon all. It was lovely out there. We live on the edge of a mid size town but to get to the farm shop I get to drive through the county lanes - it was so pretty with the frost. Did not do great with the presents only getting the ones I knew what to get.

Right updating the list and then a productive hour before I get the kids.

JJ hugs to you and the little one and I hope you enjoyed this afternoon.

Sheets done but I think that might end up being all for today as I have borrowed little Matthew and brought him home with me, much to DPs horror when he realised I haddn't brought his Mam too :rotfl: he screamed the place down when I started making lunch, pressume he could smell the food cooking, just fed him and now he's sound asleep. DP has vacuumed through downstairs inc under sofas etc and he emptied the dishwasher so I am pleased but also wondering what he's after, usually something. Will do the post for tomorrow in a mo as taking baby home after the boys get in then going straight out.
One day I might be more organised...........

lol I cam imagine the look on your DP's face lil_me! Typical man look of horror :rotfl:Bet Matthew has changed a lot already, doesn't seem 2 mins since he was born.

Well I have made good progress, found all the pressies out, updated master sheet (usually do this as I buy them) then started wrapping A&W's and managed to get them all done :D now stashed away next door ;) All evidence removed, usual chaos left behind :rotfl:. There are a few adult gaps but all in all not too bad.

My friend's OH flew over in his gyrocopter earlier so I got some pics, fingers crossed you can actually make him out!

Right very quick coffee and biscuit (no time for lunch) and then out for the scallywags

Kids came home from me looked at me is disgust and said you look like a victorian teacher! I have a claf length knitted black and grey skirt on and a grey top with a bright pink scarf so I said it is what I wear when I go to buy a bag of coal.

Right forgot something so I need to go back down to the corner shop - actually I am going to dispatch a child!

Cup of tea and a choccie if you like Rach. I've just opened one of my boxes from my birthday (one of the few i'm not regifting!).

I've done my mini list apart from the bedroom so will do that whilst DD is at school play tonight. I'm going to watch it tomorrow night so I get tonight off.

Watched DD's play so that's 2 nativity plays in one day! School have said that DS can't go to school tomorrow as he has to be off for 24 hours - he hasn't been sick since 10.30 this morning so it would be 22.5 hours - but that's obviously not good enough!

So my mate is having DS in the morning until my dad finishes work and taking him shopping with her - the school can't complain as the only reason he isn't there is because they've told me he can't go!

Didn't get a lot done - just some washing. Took my birthday cards down and put up the Christmas cards that had been accumulating. Thanks Aimee and Tinselfairy by the way for yours.:D

Want a bath soon so doubt I'll get much more done, then an early night after my early start this morning!
