rach - man with van schemes, locally, ask people rather than looking for adverts, check they are insured! Oh and like Pigpen says, stop flapping! It'll be fine. Maybe let your Dad find the man with van person instead, another thing for you not to have to worry about?

Pigpen sorry, I'm not in bed just yet, in fact I've only just noticed how late it is, need to go and get my clothes out ready for in the morning ready to go and do my taxiing as soon as the boys are at school. Unsure if DS2s going yet as he last complained with the earache at 7pm, will see how he is, DP will watch him if needs be while I am out.

DP back from his meeting, good news one of the other guys has sold £80 worth of raffle tickets, so that's £200 between us so far, other guy who was being critical of everyone else has sold £20 worth and been told to get his !!!! in gear! Hoping my Nana's present will arrive before Sunday so we can go there when we're in the area selling tickets at another place. Sorted through all the prizes tonight, there is well over £1000 worth, 14 lots so far inc one worth £400, another 2 worth £150 each, so need to sell more tickets!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning All

Been up for about 1.5 hours after DS threw up in my bed. He's currently sitting on my knee having a drink of milk. He said he'd got tummy ache last night and had diarrhoea as well but only once. He now says he's fine and is determined to go to school especially seeing as it's his first school play today! So now I don't know what to do - I suppose it depends whether this milk stays down. He's not ill in himself and obviously I'd keep him at home if he's going to continue to be ill but at the moment he seems fine!

Anyway I may be here all day with you today and so get some jobs done. I'm not due in work until later today as I'm supposed to be watching DS in his Christmas play but it looks like I may not get there at all!

Right DD has got up so I'll go and get breakfast sorted.

    Catch you all later

    Have a good day

  • Oooh I like doing bedroom - probably because it's our biggest room. I'm doing levels 1,2 & 3 plus window cleaning in there. Might even tackle a hotspot if I feel up to it.

Today I also need to meal plan, write a shopping list and do the shopping.

    morning all!

lil-Me and pigpen - i will try and stop flapping! unfortunately my dad doesn't live down here and is a bit of a mad old eccentric so i will have to sort the thing myself! but i will get it sorted, i think it is better than self-moving the week of the wedding.

assembly this morning, then toddler group, then meeting dad for lunch and then he's going off on his own for the aft and evening so i will have to get down to planning the christingle service for Sunday. once that is over my only other responsibilities next week are a couple of meetings, a slot in the carol service and a choc fondue party with the youth group, so lots of packing methinks!

i think i just feel so alone doing all this, it is hard work simultaneously planning a wedding, a move, doing a full time job and getting ready to start another (including almost weekly trips to london). work is pretty demanding (if flexible, best friend of one of my youth group died last weekend, so that is taking a lot of energy). in terms of close mates here, the best one moved away in the summer, another is 37 weeks pregnant, another is stressed out herself and the other has 4 kids and does all the music and xmas performances for the school so is really tied up. OH is great but he is not here and he's also poorly at the moment! phew, sorry, but i feel better for that!

    Morning

Rach ((((((hugs))))) I want to tell you to take it easy but with all that you've got on I know you can't. Just try and set aside one evening that's just for you x

Panto was fab! Much better than I was expecting, I'd say it was worth being skint for this week lol. The banshee next door was being a funny !!!!!! cause her partners car was parked in my space when I got back in :D she was probably hoping I'd become a screaming banshee too and knock on her door effing and blinding, what I really wanted to do was brick the windows in but I just went straight into the house :A so anyway I took a picture for my 'diary' hahahahahaha! I WILL have the last laugh.

Got to try and fix my hoover today, I'm hoping it's just the fuse *fingers crossed*

    • Clean windows in these areas

    • Clean a set of curtains, nets or blinds
    • Clean light fittings and light switches in any room, more than one if you like
    My list:-
hoover through (hopefully - if not a sweep through)
    empty DW
    reload DW (boring)
    S&S kitchen
sort some washing out (I've totally lost track)
    prep tea
    WM
    TD
bring bin in (I forgot  )

    Things I 'might' do
prep/clean kitchen window (I still haven't instant double glazed it and at 8 degrees in there this morning I really must)
    wrap some presents

It's a blanket of white frost this morning, looks beautiful but it's a pain on the car, not going anywhere so I'll just leave it lol

    Brew time...
