Peace .. OH out at a work do. DS3 last night of the play and DS1 and DS2 up at the school watching him. Need to walk back up and get them all at 9:00 - it is really cold out there now.
Going to sort out the pile of stuff which was on the table before dinner and have a little glass of wine. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Where is everyone tonight? Just thought I'd have a quick catch-up after my bath and there's only been one more post which was nearly 2 hours ago! Not used to this - normally there'd be about 2 pages in that time - everyone must be tied up with Christmas stuff.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Evening.
Quick pop in from me. I have been to my parents after work with charlie, so it was about 8:30 when we got in. DH cooked dinner for me, i had a quick cuddle of my ginger furball who isn't normally cuddly, then had to come on the computer to email a parent about a y7 kid with a detention as they wanted more details, and also to pay a huge credit card bill (nearly 1400 - ouch) so i popped in to see you all.
denise hope the funeral wasn't too traumatic and gave that poor family some peace.
sorry to hear about the poorly littlies - hopefully we don't get that here again.
anyway, as it is already ten and i am poopered (was in bed for 9 last night as well) think i had best get on. Clothes to sort out for tomorrow and i need a bath. At least it is the down hill part of the week, and i sure do need the rest.

Blimey it has been quiet here! Have just been watching the follow up thingy about Rotherham Hospital that Jerry Robinson went to last year.
W had a swimming lesson after school and HE SWAM!!!! Rather than walking up and down the pool flapping his arms lol
I am off to bed as well, yawning away but doubt I'll fall to sleep yet (so much swilling round in my head) will try reading some more of my book, see if that helps.
Work tomorrow and Friday so shan't be around much, will catch up at the weekend if not before.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
AnWsMum, first well done to little W for swimming
Matthew hasn't changed too much so far, he's still only little as he wasn't fed properly for almost a month because of surgery etc, he's over his birth weight now, he's about 9lb something I think, little cracker he is, smiling lots now. His Mam was going to see a little one who was on the same ward as him but unfortunately poorly again so I offered to look after him. I came back from the school, had left him with DP as he was asleep to find DP saying 'shhhhhhhhh I've just got him back to sleep'. :rotfl: he'd woke up and 'screamed' supposedly, I think he'd woke a little and DP just wanted a sneaky cuddlewas first time DS1 has seen him and he was loving it, rather strange as he usually dislikes babies. He's very protective and caring towards him. He's gone back home now, was weird having a tiny one in the house again...
Anyway, did quite a lot when he was here, laundry pile tackled etc. DS1s school performance tomorrow afternoon, I think I might be more nervous than he is because for the first time since he was 3, he's actually taking part, has lines to say aswell as he's Santa. I'm just dreading if he runs back out of the hall or something. I probably won't sleep just because I'm so paranoid about how it'll go
Going to have a little look on other threads then bed time for me aswell, good night everyone, I hope absent Flylady's are just busy with Christmas things etc, I expect it to be a little quieter at this manic time of year, and I hope everyone is well. One day I might be more organised...........

Gosh, quiet on here tonight. Bit of an odd evening here. My mum took my son to see DD in her play (i'm going tomorrow) so very quiet. They arrived home and DS managed to fall onto the sink and garotted his neck. He was conscious but a bit woozy - though it was an hour past his bedtime. I kept him up for an hour and then put him to bed with a big lump on his neck. Kids...bless them! xxJanuary budget

Knowing my son he'll be acting like he can't move any part of his body by the morning. The best of it was he wanted calpol (and it was quite bad so i'd have given him some) only I didn't have any. So, I gave him some diluted blackcurrent on a medicine spoon and within twenty minutes he was saying he felt better. I'm such a terrible mother! xxJanuary budget

evening all
hope everyone is ok and that the quietness on here is for nice reasons, as in school plays etc!
i wrestled the christingle into submission this afternoon so feel better for that, and just have to get a few more props tomorrow. amazing how quickly these things come together when you sit down and focus. then i had coffee and chat with friend who is v wise and that helped a lot, then brownies (though got stuck in big traffic jam on the way due to an accident - 10 min journey took over 40 mins!)
then i had a meeting tonight. there were only 2 of us at the meeting in the end but it was very helpful and confirmed a lot of my thinking about things. i have basically decided that i am not doing any work here after xmas, just goodbye stuff (which is kind of work, but you know what i mean). i am not going to any meetings except for perhaps one linked to my exit, and i have no services. i actually have quite a lot to do for the new job but that is ok as i think it is more detached. i have also decided that next week is packing week, i want to get 80% of stuff packed and stacked up. i can manage with very little as i won't even be here that much after xmas.
anyway, sorry if too much of a waffle, sometimes writing it down gets it into perspective!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
