Morning ladies bright and frosty here. Walked to school as my bike has flat tyre and it was quite relaxing.

Just going to wash up and then off to the shops so won't be back until school pick up.

Expect to be tired later as nobody slept well in our house last night - I has stayed up watching 'sleepless in seatle' as well.

The lid off my bin is missing  ok I know it's my own fault for not bringing it in straight away but I'm so sick of people thinking they can do what they like, wish I lived in the middle of nowhere with nothing but grass for company!

Had to empty the washer too, I forgot about the rug that was in there that I'd washed lol will take a week to get all the creases out of it now :D

I caught the back end of that Dusty I love Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks.

    Morning everyone,
Such sad news about the baby and the bride:grouphug: .
Thanks Dusty for thinking of me thats so nice.
Been so busy these last few days, cut DS1 and DD hair the other night, DD has very thin hair so it is now in a bob and looks so much thicker, DS1 had curtains i think he was born with themlaughing-smiley-014.gif he is now shaved with a wee fringe. He looks so different a lot more grown up.
I've managed to keep up with the flying so i'm pleased.
    List for today
1)Bake 5 gingerbread cakes for sale
    2) wash and clean out car for tonight
    3) sort out outfit for tonight

Now to go and get youngest from playschool, get organized for school play tonight, DD is the fairysport-smiley-001.gif .
    Right better go.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Back from morrisons £132 lighter  BUT that is the main bulk of shopping done, just fresh stuff from now until next year!!!

Took some flowers for DH, nice and peaceful if a tad on the cold side there. Had to break the ice on the vases to get the older flowers out. Been looking into organising a headstone, you wouldn't believe the choices from colour, shape, material and that's before you even think about the wording. It's a task I need to do when my mind is free from all the other clutter that I am having to deal with, perhaps I need to do a 27 fling boogie of the brain lol

Rach you will get everything done, as to why you seem to be doing everything there is a saying that if you want something doing ask a busy person! Break it all down into bitesized chunks and deal with one at a time without worrying about the others until the one in hand is done. Blimey I wish I could take my own advice, sounds so easy!!!

embb glad you enjoyed the panto and also well done on not turning into a banshee ;)

Arms length hugs to all the poorly ones.

I am now about to frigthen the living daylights out of myself when I find all the pressies out for wrapping and realise either 1. I have not got something/enough for everyone or 2. I've got so much there's enough for next yr as well! Suspect the former, will report back ;)

    I'm here!

Took DS to school and watched him in his nativity play. At the end he told me he'd got tummy-ache and felt sick and wanted to come home so I brought him home with me! (This is so unlike him as he loves school.) Got home, walked through the front door and he threw up all over me and the hall carpet!

Managed to do part of level 2 today without even thinking about it seeing as it was my bed that DS threw up over this morning so I had to strip it!

My dad's coming over about 1.30 to look after DS while I go and see DD's play! Should have been going tomorrow and going in work late again but figured it was better to go this afternoon seeing as I'm off work anyway.

DS keeps insisting he wants toast and pate even though I've told him he's having nothing else to eat until at least tea-time.

Right I'll go and see what I can do while I try to keep DS occupied!

rach - try not to stress - it'll all get sorted - I realised 15 mins before the wedding dress shop shut that I hadn't picked up the hoop I was renting to go with my dress - I'd never walked/ran into town that fast - up until that point I'd been lying on my bed reading a book, feeling nicely chilled and all ready for the next day!

    Afternoon all

Two loads of washing out on the line, it's breezier out there today so maybe something might dry.

Dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms and the landing(again). Stripped and remade my bed and washed bedding.

Vacuumed right through downstairs, put the fluffer (duster) round the living room.

Did some mending. I hate mending.

Now that I've sat down I feel cold, I was all right while I was working round. Still not getting up again yet though!
  • Afternoon everyone

    • Clean any glass items in this room like mirrors, clocks etc (Don't forget the top, behind and the frames!)
