I asked DD2 (10) to go for a bath earlier.. and she disappeared.. Wow I thought.. she has gone first time without having to be cattle prodded into the bathroom.. 15 minutes later I found her in the front room playing still in her school uniform...
So again I told her.. GO GET A SHOWER!!!
She replied.. 'I've had one!'... ok... WHEN?? Seeing as you are still in your school clothes...
SUNDAY!!!!!!! she replied!!!!!!!!
Cheeky mare.. I wouldn't let her have any dinner until she was clean!!! What a grot!!!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
DS1 has a new form tutor who is DS2's history teacher. He made the connection between the two today and said to DS1 'I must have met your parents at open evening then, oh yes I remember your Mum' - DS1 is mortified, but it was for a good reason he had remembered me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Well we survived the infants school play and my son was the best narrator in the history of school plays ever! He looked so gorgeous in his bow tie and waistcoat and i'm not at all biased. I've even managed not to turn to wine as soon as I got in but am planning to shortly. The whole of downstairs is very tidy and clean. Upstairs needs work so will try and do something tomorrow afternoon after i've worked.
Have a nice evening xxJanuary budget

Evening, tomorrows lists up
I've just spent 40 minutes on the phone to an old school friend, I'd called her Mam to get her new address (thankfully her Mam still had the same number as when we were at school) and she's just had a little girl recently, had a lovely chat on the phone, was really nice to catch up. Another friend of ours had a little girl last week aswell, all pink onesmust put some congratulations cards in with the Christmas ones.
Anyway, written some more cards out, crossed off all but two presents I need to get, then I am done! (well when they all arrive I am) Will try to get those both tomorrow. I'm also taking Matthew's Mam to the dentist tomorrow, means I get to look after him, cuddle time
LJD1 well done to your son, you've got every right to be proudOne day I might be more organised...........

evening all
can't remember what page my list was on! will search for it later! got a bit stressed out and weepy today - too much to do. my dad being here is lovely in a way but i have so much to do!! oh well, no point moaning, denise and jjef's posts make me realise i have nothing to moan about!
got dad measured for a suit today, pleased about that, and also sent off cheque for the flat my mum and stepdad are using the week of my weddingmy dad and i also had a chat over a curry about actually hiring a man and van outfit thing to move all my stuff up to london rather than my stepdad doing it the week of the wedding. dad says he will foot the bill (within reason) and i think, as far as my stress levels are concerned, it may be a good thing. anyone have any ideas how to find a good one?!
ooh, i forgot to say the other day...OH got radiohead tickets the other day for next summerMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Can't find previous list think it was on page 3 some where but I have managed most things but again i am carrying forward the kitchen floor - must do tomorrow. Heading for an ealy night will look at the list tomorrow and add my bits to it then.
Night all.
