  • glad your fiend came round LJD! and it is nice to know that she did take you up on your offer rather than trying to handle it herself.

Well DS is at school this afternoon but as a cough and a temp but he so wanted to go. Have told the school to keep an eye on him. Waiting for a call to say I need to pick him up :)

Tried and tidy some the living room but it certainly doesn't look like it now. Who would have thought that a 22 month old could make soooo much mess!

I popped into the council whilst I was up at the post office, very helpful lady, said that seeing as the house was bought that it would go to environmental and she would contact them on my behalf If I wished, she also said she could go round and have a word with her but that sometimes makes things worse lol told her to wait till next week cause she said to go back then with my weeks worth of diary lol. Thinking about popping to my local police station to see what they say too, but that will be maybe tomorrow now.

I feel worn out, drained infact. Got to get tea sorted seeing as I'm too late to be putting the chicken in, pasta methinks! and I want to brighten up for the panto tonight. Flylady cards are posted. :T

    Back froms school.

DS1 just hoovered living room - I'll do the sofa's now and have a cuppa then back to the list.

Embb glad you are taking some action - much better than just dwelling on it, good luck.

Glad you've taken some action Embb - here's to getting it all sorted out.

Right I need to cook tea, do a bit of decluttering and then it's school play. When I get home it'll be children in bed and very large glass of wine for me!

    Afternoon all.

Did two loads of washing today, including the throws from the living room. Nothing dried at all and I've just draped it all round inside.

I vacuumed kitchen, hallway, stairs, landing and bathroom and toilet. Don't know what list I'm working to, but at least I did something!

Had a Christmas card from Jim today....anybody know a Jim? We don't :D Was addressed to my husband on the envelope, but had both our names inside. Weird.

Had Asda delivery this morning with tons of stuff missing. Not unavailable, just missing. They're supposed to be redelivering tomorrow. We'll see. They are usually much better. Also, half the eggs were broken and some of the yogurts so they are supposed to be refunding those. Hope the next order, just before Christmas, is better or that will be a real pain. Grumpy delivery man too. Usually get a cheerful middle aged woman. Hope she's back next time.

Waiting for a parcel to be picked up that my daughter is returning. Got a parcel in the kitchen for my neighbour from Toys R Us. Can't take it round or the kids will know what's going on ;)

Will be glad to go to work for a rest. I feel all tired and grumpy and like nothing is working out right.

I am so darn miserable today. I am going to do food for the brood.. find uniforms, stuff them all in bed and build pack ups.. then I am going to bed myself.. tomorrow.. I WILL feel hunky dory and as twinkly as a new angels halo...
