pigpen I wouldn't either I don't even like leaving DD1 with littley and she's 18 lol it's a very rare occurence and only if I'm nipping up to the shop. It's also against the law to leave kids alone under the age of 13 or is it 15 anyway, she should seriously be done for neglect if nowt else.

I'm trying to find a nintendo ds lite for MIL who's buying it for her daughter (she's 28 :D ) think I've found somewhere on line juswt waiting for her to give me CC details so I can order it, the site looks ok but I do have my reservations when ordering somewhere new.

LJ throw caution to the wind and go for it, you'll have a great time even if the guilt kicks in later what the hey it's only money.

Well, I don't know what your on about Embb, she sounds lovely! :D Anyone would want her as a neighbor! LOL! Don't let her bother you, tell her if she's so !!!!!!! la de bloody da with her BOUGHT house and all, she should build a drive! And while she is at it, she may as well build a dog pen for her kids.

DS2 at nursery, blind man coming soon to put in my new blinds so I can once again walk round naked if I wish. Hope he is nice to look at, hate inviting ugly men into my house... I should make a list of what I need to do.

    Wash sofas
    Moisturise sofas
    hoover stairs
get rid of junk from hall
clean under sofas (with full protective equipment)
    clean glass doors
put light up in the window
    polish
    tidy pc desk
    hoover car (hahahahahahaha!)
    asda for cigs
butcher for a flirt (kidding, I need mince, and hes old)
    groom dog
stop making lists that I know I will never score off.

Oh, bit of a bump outside, lorry has hit a van.... so, :coffee: and a nosey.
  • Good afternoon everyone.

You've all started to achieve your Tuesday's list, and I won't be starting mine until later! :rotfl:

Here's what I managed last night after work:

Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One

[STRIKE]Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things! [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe & replace small appliances such as kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances, don't forget those kick boards
    [/STRIKE]
Check those washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps
    • Clean the inside of cupboard doors
    • Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    • Clean one cupboard out, what is that in there? anything out of date? Sort through it and clean it before putting everything back
So I've managed more this week than last week on the kitchen. There's no doubt that once it's ticking over it's not such a big job. My mega jobs still to come in the kitchen are the windows and the oven, and I'll aim to do those before Christmas, as the rest of the house is looking less manky!

Look forward to posting my Tuesday results later!

Have a good afternoon - off for my lunch break now :T

Not got far and need to go up to school now. Hall and kitchen floors hooverd and mopped and I have rubbed all the pencil off the floor.

Think I will give swimming lessons a miss as DS3 has his play and it would be cutting it tight and it tires him out. That way I can finish my list after school run.

My mind still has questions coming into it that I want to ask my 'friend' but I am not sure I can cope with the answers - what do you think?

Bit of advice please - I don't want to hassle my friend who's husband is at the hospice but do you think it's ok to just send the odd text. I don't want her to think i've forgotton her but equally I know this is a very private time for them. Any advice please!

LJD I am sure they would eally appreciate it. I know I did last year, a couple of friends kept sending text messages despite me not replying immediately. When I did email they were wonderful, along the lines of 'didn't expect a reply, just wanted you to know we are here' :)

Pity you don't live a bit closer pigpen I've got my old pc base with a few working bits in it you could have had.

Ordered the DS Lite- it red and it's fab!, got a bit confused as the order says not complete but I've had the confirmation email, think it was cause the page timed out so there was 3 seperate entries made lol ones being processed though.

I really should do something instead of sitting here now, but really cannot be faffed!

Tia :D she built a drive but she can only just squeeze her car on so she doesn't bother lol plus the garden wall looks lovely that he hacked to bits after a row that they had, all the pillars and posh tops were knocked off - lmao they're still lying in the garden after 3 months.

Best to ask them anyway then at least you'll know one way or the other, half the time you don't get the answers you think you're going to get and then think what was I worried about. Good Luck Dusty x
