And HB I feel your pain.  My meeting this afternoon went on for 2.5hrs because one of the ladies there just would not stop talking and half of what she said was completely irrelevant, its so frustrating, I have so much work to do.

The house looks a bit untidy and unloved, but I have had another long day, it will wait.  The kitchen is acceptable, the DW is on, and I have swished and swiped the sides.  Have also done two small loads of washing, I never seem to have a proper load any more.

I am ready for the weekend.

YL.. I am like that.. I don't know when is an appropriate time to shut up and I go off on random tangents. Apparently it is one of the traits looked for in adult ASD diagnosis.. not knowing when to shut up. With me you just interrupt and I stop.. Usually a 'going back to the original point/queestion.....' is effective, it sort of resets my brain.

HB.. if she is new might it just have been nerves (hopefully) or maybe they joined because they are super lonely and just need people and may get less talky in a few weeks. If not, maybe try some super-sticky toffees?? Or lollipops!

Thank you for the helpful suggestions, short_bird.  Yes, there are lots of estimated bills, and one of the things I had planned to do next week is take photos of the meters.  It won't happen until at least Wednesday, as we are meeting up with DD and DGS1+2 at Blenheim Palace on Tuesday   

We had a very pleasant lunch and afternoon out, at a local EH site, with lots of rhododendrons and azaleas in bloom in the warm sunshine.  This evening has disappeared into thin air, trying to persuade DH to book tickets for Blenheim (the annual pass is in his name: since he has a blue badge, I go in free as his carer - very MSE!)  I think he must be tired out from walking what cannot have been more than 400 yards, and it showed in his attitude.

I have done QHI, made up DH's nest with clean bedding, and put more hats and scarves in the CS box.  I must get a bigger box tomorrow!

Goodintentions

Paid stuff today - just 1 child as the other has a stinking cold. Met up with DD1 in the woods to walk the dogs. DH came too. The baby had a good toddle about and explore too 😊 
2x WM done & dried. After work I started sorting through my wardrobe. 1 bag of linen to go to CS. 1 load in the WM to be hung out in the morning, and another can be done tomorrow. I hope to finish sorting the linen & finding a new home for what is left tomorrow. I now have a long weekend, so time to catch up on some jobs, mainly in the garden/allotment as the weather should be good. 
I'm glad you are home Valli. Make sure you rest up - we will be checking!!

My turn for WAC sentry duty.  I hope you are all sleeping. I've refilled the kettle and topped up the biscuit barrel  - do they still exist? 🙃 At this house biscuits don't last long enough to hit a storage container 🤣

Popping in to relieve Round.  Feel like Rip Van Winkle though.  Fell asleep on sofa shortly after Dragons Den.  DD came to wake me up so I could go to bed.  I've woken 2/3 times in the nigh - too hot/too cold but got off again v. quickly.  So chances are, if you drop in, I will be snoring gently in the corner.

Last day, whoop! As well as work, I need to deposit/collect children from a friends, drop clothing off at clothing bank - fffuuuuuurrrrliiiiinggggg 😍😍 - drop off some egg sales, order some fish and chips from the chippy for tea then collapse in a heap 😂

Thank you so much for all your thoughts. It was an emotional afternoon. I’m so proud of DD - she adulted right up there with the best of them. She has made her decision on treatment. Not everybody will agree with it, but it is her decision and I will support her with it.  The consultants were great, and said that they will be there for her too. We have another appointment to talk, face to face, her choice. The decision might change, but for the moment it is made.
Today is a work day. I need DD to be mobile before I go, so I’m sort of wfh until then. DH has the afternoon off to pull down some ceiling in the small room before the plasterer comes to make our small room all smooth and lovely for the first time ever. He is dropping DD at the pub later. Not sure how that will end, and I am the lucky one on pick up duties this evening.
Errr, the obligatory flying bit …. I did actually run the vacuum cleaner around upstairs and down the stairs yesterday afternoon, and iron the bedding which had dried in the sunshine. Yay!
Love the list for today - will ponder my June goal. Might see what others put first!

wm is on and I’m going through a bag of paperwork from DG’s getting it ready for shredding at a reasonable hour.  I need to retrieve my green wheelie bin but need to get dressed first.
