I managed a shower. I was just going to get dressed and i gave myself a stern talking to and threw myself in like a petulant child.. I am now washed and dressed and feel much better for it!
I tried a few items on and flung several items in the Ebeast pile to be listed .. soon.. I would like to say today but realistically it won't be.Including a new pair of shoes I bought in the sales for about £5 and I just don't like them..WM has finished and I am going to ask one of the big stinky creatures to mince the grass.. they won't die from being outside I'm sure. (they might, they are a bit vampire-ish)
Oh my.. HB I thought she was a new person you were showing the ropes to!! She sounds like an ungrateful Winnie.. Slight change of plan because DH announced that he was going to make up my bedside cabinet so I decided to empty the wardrobe 😱 I was mistaken - there were 2 VERY full shelves!! I emptied it onto the bed, and went to the allotment! Grass has been cut, and I cleared a patch of weeds.
I came home and tackled some of the stuff on the bed.....2 CS bags filled (mainly from the stuff off the washing line). I binned some pants, some religious socks (ie holy!) and one running top. I have had to put the clothes under the bedroom chair as there is no room in my other wardrobe, nor the CoD (until DD2 moves out!) I also have a laundry basket full of stuff that can wait another day. At least I can get into bed!!
Round As I was reading your posts I was thinking "that's a lot of socks!" 😂😂 I don't know what happens to mine! I have hardly any 😭 😂

Round good work, like GI I never seem to have enough socks.
Hope the grass is nicely minced Pigpen.
House tidied, dusted, and hoovered. Clean washing put away, doggie bedding washed. Car hoovered and washed. Two lasagnas made and a chickpea and spinach stew done in sc, we are overrun with spinach.
DH has had a check up and been told he has high cholesterol. He doesnt eat any salad, veg or fruit and really needs to try and be a bit healthier, although he really struggles with veg (he says its because his mother forced him to eat it when he was little). I am going to try and help him, it wont do me any harm to cut back on some things either.

Thanks for the ideas about the tools Valli, I will have a search.
Our council advice on chemicals is that the tip will take small amounts. Popped to DG’s after dancing to pick up some sewing patterns that were being collected today. I did a little rearranging whilst there.
DH cut both lawns to get into my good books. I have been filling in a practice estate agent form for the house to see what documents I need to gather.

HAHA... no... Neither emerged from their respective pits of despair until dinner was done and retreated just as fast. OH was allowed home early, they had 4 in the kitchen and it was dead do he was home just before 6. They only let him come home because it is our wedding anniversary otherwise they would have sent the bone idle woman home like they always do.
2x WM though with his work gear.. definitely a bonus..

Did someone mention a Victoria cream sponge? 🍰
My turn on WAC sentry duty again. Sigh. I hope this means that the rest of you are sleeping soundly....but I can smell cigarette smoke so I think someone was here earlier.
Sweet dreams.

Pops into WAC... been in and out all night...sometimes it's like a game of hide and seek and I think I'm going to catch one of you. DD went back home to Covid City yesterday afternoon; DS popped by last night with some shopping for me including juice and flavoured water. While I am constantly thirsty I do like something tasty to drink. And he bought me some chocolate, bless him...and he paid for it all, too. Mind you he did use the co-op as he couldn't be bothered to walk round Tesc0. Tbf our Tesco is an Extra store and is huge ... I only go there for stuff I cannot get elsewhere. Or random stuff like my new SC which was on offer.
Anyway back to CMWife. On I player

Another one playing hide and seek with you, round and Valli. I am blaming the blackbirds and the fiery dawn for waking me up at 3.58 grrrrr!
I have FUPA a crate full of clean washing that I was too tired to deal with last night, done some online sudoku and jigsaws, and am seriously contemplating going down for a cuppa very soon before dealing with an odd bit of paper work that needs attention. I cleared a big pile of papers in the study yesterday, so the dust is now in full view.
DS 2 has been struck down by labyrinthitis, just a couple of days before they were due to go away for a much needed short break. I may have to drive over to look after him and cook him a meal tomorrow, as he's definitely not fit to travel but they don't want to disappoint the boys, so DDiL is taking them away on her own.
Just wondering when I will ever manage to clean this house properly and look after my neglected garden????
Hope everyone has a good day xx
