Up, showered and dressed.. in clothes, not pj's. Hormonal headache going on so I will hang out washing in the glorious sunshine and feed the grubs lunch.. Dot is needing a calm-down session in the bath I think.. she is very twitchy today. Pixie is bored and we need to see if Squeak still fits her bike as she has bikeability at the end of june.. She may need to borrow a bike.
DS2 has surfaced so I shall mention grass mincing... see how fast he can disappear lol. They all know if they do it once they have no excuse to not do it again.. haha..
A small bunch of ebeasty items photographed.. I have cast on a blanket.. I might actually get a bit further if boredom allows.
I've added some 62p handwriting books to my Am@z0n basket and some lefty scissors seeing as I have no idea where ours have gone 93p.. and a mermaid Barbie for Twinkles birthday.. the will have to be paid for on Friday when OH gets paid.. I have then done 4 weeks without a decent food shop.. the freezers aare bare and routine has got a bit boring.. slinging corned dog in the SC for tonight while I do lunch .. The girls can have beans/hoops/scrabbled egg on toast tonight and thats them sorted.
Sundailies..
Brain pills.
Laundry shuffleEbeasting/V1ntedBoss minions to mince about in the garden and shovel poopy trays..
Vacuum the resultant mess and wash the crappet by the front door..
Fayolle.. love and hugs to you all.. I think DD is allowed a meltdown or 25.. and you too.. I hope no one is too sore after their bump yesterday. DH is STILL at the allotment. Either he is hiding or he is making a mountain out of a molehill. Most likely the latter.
I have done HHI, made 4 pots of jam and prepped more rhubarb for another batch tomorrow, hung wm x 1 on the line, made a rhubarb crumble for when the oven is on plus extra crumble for the fridge (à la Valli) for when I cba and want a pudding, WuLtD.
And…drumroll…I think that my June challenge will be to sort out the kitchen drawers, after I scrabbled through detritus to find jampot covers. There are only 4, so even I should be able to do one a week, shouldn’t I?
Enjoy your bbq, HB.
Thank you for all the hugs. You are the best xx8 -
Me again
well a productive morning has been had,
bathroom and en suite scrubbed
office and spare room thoroughly dusted and vac’d
all upstairs bins emptied
spare room bed stripped and bedding washed, also put lighter duvet on, the room is ready although unlikely to have any visitors so not sure why I’ve done it, it looks better though!
linen cupboard emptied and sorted, bedding and cushion covers that we won’t use put into the cs bag, everything else can now be seen and gotten to easily
top flight of stairs vac’d and all woodwork dusted and polished
our bedroom dusted and vac’d, duvet changed over, will take winter one to the launderette for a wash before packing away as it’s not been done for a whileStopping now for some lunch and then I think it will be read a book afternoon, the rest of the house can wait until tomorrow
hugs to all in need xx8 -

3 pairs of shoes in CS box. It is nearly full!
Carpet washed inder the big litter tray.. it was not very nice.. it is now much nicer.. I need to empty the dirty water and then I can reshuffle the back room which is just a tip at the moment.. I am fed up of looking at it all! I need to vacuum and wash that carpet too.. but Boog needs to do a little more poo-picking, I found a couple of deposits behind the door.!!
Girls screaming in the garden.. apparently there are bugs out there.. no Sh** Sherlock!
I am so going to be paying for this tomorrow lol.

FAYOLLE - you are quite an extraordinary woman. We are all here, cheerleading you and your DD, always. Sending you all the love xx
I am sat in my garden drinking wine....
However I have... binned so much paperwork from a past life; binned loads of tat from the kids rooms (much easier as they’re not here!); asked a friend if she wants two big items I no longer need and done a load of washing. And read over 100 pages of my book
Big love to you all x

Fayolle sending you strength. I remember DS having a meltdown of epic proportions not long after he went back to work. He was staying the night at work and I had to drive there to pick him up at 2am, bring him back sobbing and talking jibberish and tuck him into his bed at home. Probably good to get all the grief and emotion out. Hope you are all OK.
I have cycled with my ladies group and had coffee and cake at a local farm shop, which was very enjoyable. Came back to sit in the garden with my book.
I have dragged my big vacuum bag of summer clothes out of the top of the wardrobe. Most of it was bought for my last holiday abroad in 2018 and I have never worn it since. It isnt going to make much on ebay and I cant decide whether to ruthlessly cull it for the CS, or just stick it back in the top of the wardrobe in case we do go somewhere hot and sunny one day. I have dumped it on DS2s bed for now because I am not in the mood to deal with it. Advice anyone?
