I got this from Farm Foods a while ago as far as I can remember it was under £2 I do know it’s very nice. It’s out of date now but I still use it.

It’s been open 3 months now I still put some on porridge.

Presumably keep it in the fridge... and it will last for yonks! (given the chance)

Maple syrup stays in our fridge for months as I try not to eat toooooooo much of it or have it too often.  In 4 decades I've only once had it go off and I assume that had been contaminated somehow.

And I will confirm that maple syrup is suitable for Canadians!!!

Likewise. Months after opening in the fridge - in 500ml containers. 

Favourite: bacon on French Toast, with maple syrup drizzled over.

I got a voucher for free "Chillies, Mixed Chillies or Red Grapefruit" at Lidl today.   

Are the vouchers normally weird combinations?

I got pointed red peppers or 4 lemons. I wanted the peppers but they had sold out so I ended up with the lemons. I also had easy peelers or oranges which makes a bit more sense
I wonder if they are doing combinations so if they sell out of one you have to have the other rather than something else of equal value

Which is much better than going without! Will take a trip to Lidl in the next few days (if it should ever stop raining).
