Totally agree! This is a much better offer than the bakery one.
We have started buying one thing from our shopping list to see what free fruit we have won then going round and doing all the rest of the shopping + free fruit. It would be annoying to buy something only to discover afterwards you have won it as your  free item!

I was about to say that!!  Picked up my free raspberries and decided to get a big pack of strawberries as well and guess what my next free fruit is - strawberries or a melon!!

Also annoying is that one of my coupons for 15% off was for their Lungo coffee pods.  All these pods have been £2.89 for 20 until a few weeks back with they changed the box for the Lungo ones and upped the price to £2.99.  And apparently you can only get a discount on the old packs not the new ones!!  Had a grumble at them but they stuck to their "but it's a different product code".

  • I wish Aldi would jump on the bandwagon with a loyalty/bonus card/app.

    Why don’t they?

Because they're doing fine without such nonsense :)

When is the fruity offer going to end?

I've only had one slightly disappointing avocado so far... the bounty of strawberry punnets or boxes of grapes have so far eluded me.

In other words, I hope it doesn't end too soon.

I'm going to Lidl today mainly to pick up my free Bakery item for the month, so hoping for a nice fruity bonus.

The Ts & Cs say it'll end on 12th June.

I've just read that Lidl is now offering lower prices on key items for its loyalty club customers, much like Tesco does.

Yes. There are some offers which are the same for everyone, which you don't have to activate, and a few 'personalised' ones which you do.
Of my 6 personalised ones I've only ever bought 2 and am unlikely to buy the other 4
