Found a jar of Brussels pate with cranberry. It seems to be the very popular flavour, or maybe there is only one in a mixed case?

I was in Lidl this morning and none of the manned checkout opened at 10:00 I had to go through the self service checkouts. I put my shopping through but when it came time to pay it wouldn't accept my credit card even though I have plenty of credit left on it. I put in my bank card and it was the same so I left the store with my shopping and no one tried to stop me, when I got home and looked on the credit card app it had gone through so I don't know what it was but they've taken the payment, I just hope it hasn't gone through twice once on the credit card and on my bank debit card.Someone please tell me what money is1

The last time I was overcharged in Lidl (or at least charged more than the price on the shelf label) the assistant LOUDLY sighed and almost looked like he was rolling his eyes when I mentioned it. I was actually quite shocked how rude it came across. Perhaps he was just exasperated by how many times it may have been happening in that store and I'm guessing some ongoing store/staffing issues, but nevertheless I was taken aback by his response and his lack of apology, especially as I had been very polite to him.1

It doesn't sound like Lidl always keeps a happy crew on the shop floor!
Aldi doesn't seem to do grumpy or miserable. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
