The last few times I've been in Lidl they've had a Ritter Sport display, thankfully the Crispy Coffee ones are almost done otherwise I'd have to keep buying a pack each time.

Re the Aldi profiteroles, they also do a salted caramel one which I haven't tried yet, but a pack might slip into my trolly in my next shop.

I’m very lucky to have Aldi and Lidl 200 meters apart however they are 4 miles from where I live so I don’t go in that often. Does anyone know…

do either of them sell curry wurst? Not just as a “special” but all the time? Or if only a special how often

    thanks all

  • I think I’ve seen them in Lidl, not recently though. Prolly in the ‘Austrian week’ offerings.

I am only buying one box of fave chocolates for Christmas this year, just the two of us.  Better for health, pocket and figure!

Which is ... a box of Lindor.  The cheapest was £6 from Tescos 337g or thereabouts.

No doubt someone going to post they have found them cheaper elsewhere!
I was at a open garden charity thing a couple of years back and they had a table top sale as well.  There was a huge (600g?) box of mixed Lindor they were selling for £1.  I asked it they had priced it correctly and they said yes as it's BBD was the next day so they wanted to ensure it was sold.  I obliged.  After all, it was for charity.....

I agree @thriftytracey. I can't help you with Lindor but I've bought my favourites, cherry liqueurs and a bar of chocolate marzipan from Aldi. 🎄😋
  • Chocolate is no longer as irresistible as it once was. Lindor for example are like balls of butter, and Fererro taste stale to me half the time. I think my tastebuds are finally growing up.

Chocolate has always been resistable to me.
We have a half-eaten block of G&B dark ginger on the coffee table that's been there for at least a fortnight.
To me, that's the thing with good quality chocolate - I don't feel the need to eat a whole bar in one sitting.
I've always preferred dark chocolate so I've had grown up chocolate tastebuds for many years.

"A bar"? Just one bar?? Singular?! What, was there only the one left or something? :p
