I’ve heard that the AZ vaccine is less effective than the Pfizer against the Indian variant. Fingers crossed you get over it quickly 🌞🌈
Back in the loop now after my few days visiting my SIL in Cardiff.Do I need it or just want it.4 -
Now up to £92.73 spent for the month.£71.93/ £180.004
-
A few spends the back end of last week - £82.88 on Musclefood and £111.63 on Lidl.
Both had spend in for DD's Birthday (BBQ food & presents) so £33.88 taken to a different budget.
That leaves us at £336.88/£561 - £224.12 to last the month
The freezer is full but found yesterday I was missing some basics like onions! My mum has moved into her new polace now so trying to get back into a good routine and will hopefully make it to the greengrocers on Thursday morning after doing the nursery run. Hopefully the next couople of weeks will be mostly about the basics of fruit and veg and some specific Tesco top ups.
Looking OK for target at the moment :-)

Almost back on track now, just a bit of cough left to get rid of. Had the covid test yesterday, and got the result early this morning : NEGATIVE!
Suffering the symptoms of upset digestive tract, headache, high temperature, chills and shivers, nauseous, lack of appetite, zilch energy, fuzzy head, aching all over, and persistent dry tickly cough, I'm going to say we'd copped for the bug. We'll still be keeping our distance from anyone until Thursday is out, just in case, I know we could be considered as being over cautious.
Tesco delivered - cost being £114.83, less medical stuff (cough meds, Zovirax, lozenges, and Lemsip) £13.05, and less £4.50 for a paint roller = so £97.38 was actually spent on food.
That means there's £22.95 left in the budget. It's going to be tight... let's hope our appetite remains lacking5 -

Does anyone else have a partner who can’t even get the easy jobs right let alone be replied upon for anything for complicated such as DIY?!
you made me laugh! My 1st husband used to mess up, so it was easier to do the job myself. My 2nd husband has developed a deaf ear strangely enough
God Bless him

Good afternoon All
Glad you tested negative,@GSDMum. Hope you feel better soon.
I have two small spends to declare. Saturday, I managed to buy three huge aubergines from a market stall. £2 spent and it was worth every penny. Two have been zapped, pulped and frozen - to be used to bulk out minced beef dishes - while the third is in the fridge, to be used later this week.
Yesterday was our usual, Sunday walk to the C0-0p. £5.15 spent, which included a YS quiche for £2.05 and £1.35 on Harissa Sausage Rolls from the bakery. (The sausage rolls became an impromptu breakfast, while the quiche is part of tonight’s dinner.)
The above spend brings our total for June to £83.14/£144.20, leaving £61.06 for the remainder of the month.
Tonight, DH is going to go to MrT’s without me. I’ve written a shopping list and expect it to come to about £15 but he has full rein to buy YS items without consulting me.

Spent £6.50 at Sains on loo rolls and £2.55 at M*rks on cucumber and strawberries for dinner.
There was nearly a crisis because the cucumber shelf looked empty but I decided to rummage behind the wooden crate just in case and there was one that had fallen over the back so I nabbed it.
My new total is £55.04/£120 with a daily average spend of £3.93 (hurrah)."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
