I'm glad you're enjoying my diary.
I'm finding that it really helps to take my mid of things, as "a problem shared is a problem halved" and all that...
I've just been doing a bit of research into my proposed trip to Canada - and the more I read, the more I want to go!!! My mind is well and truely made up, now all I need to do is sort out the details.0 -

Where in Canada will you fly into?
The flights will be from Manchester to Calgary.
My cousin lives in Cranbrook, and will collect us from the airport.0 -
Awesome. Are you going with flyglobespan?

I was planning to book through Canadianaffair, as my aunty used them last time. The flights are over £150 cheaper!0 -
Well, a new savings 'pot' has now been set up for my Canada savings.
I need to set aside £300ish for the flights (although I will need to book these some time in advance...so won't have until September to save), and at least a couple of hundred in spending money. This will be my first foreign holiday for over 8 years, and will probably be my last for at least another 5 years, so I intend to enjoy myself - although I wont go overbaord, and certainly won't get into any debt for it!0 -
I've just taken my first step in saving towards this trip, I have listed 3 books for sale on Amazon.
If all sell, the money they generate will pay for my travel insurance, with enough left over to buy a coffee at the airport.0 -
Great news about the Canada trip marc. Really pleased for you. XNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

That's a shame about flyglobespan...they have always been dirt cheap to my knowledge. I guess there are various factors involved though.
Well done on listing the books, I hope they sell.I'm the only gay in this forum

One of the books has sold, for £4.50
(Well, that's the coffee at the airport paid for:rotfl: )
I've also got confirmation that AQA have received my contract, and have downloaded KES etc. I'm hoping to be all sorted out by the weekend, so I can start earning some money.
I've also just potentially earned myself a decent payout from Quidco. My mothers telephone line and internet connection is with Bulldog, who are ceasing their PAYG service in February. She also pays Sky for a TV package on top. I've just signed her up with Virgin Media (at her request), which will save her about £10 per month and also earn me a nice bonus.0
