Well done on being virtually debt free. And having holiday savings.

Hey marc, been a while since I was online so just thought I'd drop into your diary for a nose :)

Congrats on your new pad, sounds great!!! And you're doing so bloomin' well on quidco, I'm quite jealous ;)

Keep up the good work and focus on that holiday!

  • Blimey, so long since an update...sorry!!

Not much has changed really, still plodding along and loving my job and new life in the country. :D

    Oh yeah, and I bought myself a new car!! :o A Toyota MR2.... :D

My finances are well and truely in order, as this month is my final debt repayment and I even have a couple of hundred pounds in my saings account. My next goal is to save a house deposit, as I'd love to own one of the little cottages in the village (even the one I currently rent, if possible). I'm aiming to save a 20% deposit in 2-3 years if I can.

One more bit of good news, I've broken the £1000 barrier in Quidco earnings. :T (Guess that means I spend too much online, lol)

Right, I'm supposed to be working so need to shoot off now, but now I have an internet connection at home I should be able to keep up a bit more. :)
  • Oops, nearly forgot, I'm also starting AQA again this week. My account was suspended when I didn't have access to the internet, but they've agreed to reinstate me so I want to get going this week. :)

Due to some changes in working hours, I'm going to lose a few hours overtime each month so the AQA money will make up for this.
