Built in coffee machine when buying a new house - vendors want to take it

One house we viewed was in the process of being stripped. The photos on the listing showed a lovely, well decorated home with nice fittings. When we got there, they were removing all the posh wall sockets, light fittings and carpets and replacing them with the cheapest substitutes possible.
It's perfectly legal as long as it is declared on the TA10 form but I do have an issue with properties being marketed in a condition that they won't be sold in.
Luckily we've been able to discuss everything with our vendor in person because I was worried about finding out they were taking curtains/carpets/light fittings after solicitor's fees were incurred for work done.

I'm certainly not paying £1500 on top of what is already an inflated price for the house. I don't care much for coffee - or for that matter being able to use a smart-phone app to control it (can't imagine anything can go wrong with that right?).
Bet it'll be straightforward to rejig the carcasses slightly to make it a different size, so you could put something else in there that you would find more useful. Pic?
But I do care for the fact that this whole 'brand new kitchen' (which is why we're paying such a high price) has been designed specifically with a unit there, and it would just look quite odd or out of place with a cupboard or panel there.3 -
it will be a standard hole (check the brand model)
if lucky its this size

If you don't want a coffee machine stick a microwave in there <£4001 -
I find it odd that a house without a kitchen isn't mortgageable in the UK. The in Europe, a lot of people take the full kitchen with them, carcasses etc and all!

Good grief, I've got a very good (and well used!) built in coffee machine but I'd never dream of taking it if we moved - I mean for starters, you'd end up having to remodel your new kitchen around it!1

Whenever I've moved house, I've left behind everything that was bought specifically for that house. The chances of them fitting a new place are pretty slim, and it's also nice to start over with fresh stuff.1
