Round.. so pleased everything is sorted and you know what is happening. I bet the police pulling you over was super scary for a moment too!! We have had a heavy police presence down my fairly quiet little street today too.. its a bit disconcerting if I am honest.
I'm going to see if I can find a new coat for Moomin in OHs catalogue or my Red0ute (which I paid off on Friday!!! ggrrr) and I may just send the bill to the college.. if they cannot supervise a students belongings when they are forced to leave them in another room it is surely their responsibility when those items are stolen?! And the principal was told exactly that!
I need to make Pixies sandwiches, we hadn't got enough bread for hers so I haad to send OH to shop.. but she is sorted now.
Off to coat hunt!

Paid stuff today. Not much done on the decluttering front, but everything is washed up or in the DW so I am happy with that. 1 load of washing done and FUPA. DH took down the cupboards above the bed when he finished work. They have been dismantled and are stacked in DD2'S room. Hopefully he can take them to the tip after work on Friday. There is no point putting them outside because they will get wet & then make a mess of my car! He also vac'd up the BR when he finished (he is quite well trained).
More basket crocheting was done while I watched sewing bee.
Grumpy dog was sick tonight, after having his medicated dinner, so we will have to keep an eye on that.
Hugs to those that need them. Night night all!11 -
Morning all. I wandered past the wac room a couple of times in the night and the light was on. Hope everyone got back to sleep.
Plan for today
ring gp/chemist to chase missing items from medication for DH (no doubt they won’t talk to me). Also chase request for DS2 meds whilst I’m at it.
Could do with some new fingers myself. Mine look like storybook witch’s ones and are very painful.
I need to change some beds if hands allow.
I need to chase solicitor.10 -
Morning xx
I'm hoping for a boring day today. I'm tired of living in a soap opera now, thank you.
I'm up, showered, dressed, made my bed, packed my lunch and had breakfast and a brew. Taken a hoodie off the ottoman and put it in the laundry hamper. It will be washed and returned to the Council - there's a coat they can have back too. (DS worked for them eons ago).
Birds will be fed and recycling binned appropriately before I trundle off to the paid stuff.
Love to you all

Morning all,
I also tiptoed in and out of the WAC, but managed to resist the treats.
Up and dressed - lucky really as DH dropped my car to the garage and I have been to collect him, and I don’t think that the mechanics deserved the sight of a not-dressed me at that time in the morning. Bed stripped first thing and bedding in the wm. Bed now remade. It’s quite tempting to get back into it…
DD has an appointment this afternoon, assuming she is ok. She took a tumble yesterday, seems ok, so hoping that we don’t need to go to A&E this morning.
Other than that, DH is on work calls, so this morning’s flying will need to be hush flying.
Like Round, I am super envious of people living predictable routine lives. I’d quite like to join her and get off the soap opera merry-go-round as well.
Have a lovely day all. Keep warm, if it ‘s anything like it is here xx9 -

Emails back from the college principal.Trying to get OH to attempt a cover letter.. he has rage quit already.. I may strangle him.Girls at school.. Pixie forgot her viledin book. They did all take coats today at least!
Todays list Moomin did on Monday so I may have a fling in the back room while OH is at work and everyone else is in bed... DS1 I can make allowances for, he didn't get home until nearly midnight but the other 2.. no excuses..
The girls room is a bear pit.. but I can ony do one room at a time and the back room needs the most attention right now.. the kitchen is grim too but that can be tomorrow afternoons job if I can do it after Dots appointment.
Ebeast parcels to wrap again! and post.. AGAIN! lol
DWPackupsI already put a huge bag of rubbish in the bin from upstairs.. FLING! I reshuffled my room so stuff is piled higher but there is more floor.. I really need to spend some time in there.I am doing my first school run since November.. I want to die already! haha.

Bathrooms cleaned, eventually. Everything seems to be taking a long time this morning.
Polenta prepped for dinner tonight.
Sourdough mixed up for the weekend. The Goddess halo is going to fall off soon, don’t worry.
New food processor unpacked. DH bought it (not sure he quite knows that yet!) to replace my old one, which has a cracked lid. At over 25 years old, I don’t begrudge it, and have bought a like for like replacement. The downside is that it has to live on the utility room work surface (aka the fridge top!) as I won’t use it if it is packed away. Not that there is any cupboard space for it anyway…
Can someone please tell the weather that it is May - lashing rain and a gale force wind atm.
Is Kaz around /ok, or have I missed her posts? Hugs, Kaz, if you are reading along xx10 -

Last load from testing out the new WM done and dried in TD, just waiting on what is on the rack to dry. Kids can take their bits up when they get home later.
En-suite & family bathroom done, just need to do downstairs loo and mop.
DW was emptied and refilled this morning and the office tidied, the office just needs a polish.10
