pollyanna_26 said:Lovely to see you LW. I'm so sorry to hear your health has declined but will send the love, light and lavender vibes for a positive rheumo appointment. You both seem to make a good team although some roles have swapped. Enjoy your time with the lovely Cookie. Many thanks to Pigpen for letting this non flylady make contact with LW. Many on different threads miss her very much.pollyx
Everyone is welcome hereI'm so pleased LW dropped by and it was my absolute pleasure and joy to bring a smile to so many faces, it made this pain filled day worth getting out of bed for.. and now I'm going to get back in it! lol
I squished 2 fly tipped binbags into my black bin.. I had a bit of space and it seemed silly not to get rid of at least a little bit.
OH has had a hateful first shift back being taken advantage of and made to feel like he wasn't doing his job properly and general rudeness and disrespect from the duty manager.. no one goes to work for that. I will strongly urge him to write a cover letter for his CV tomorrow and kick his derriere into applying for some more appealing jobs. I am sick of him being stressed about working there.. he spent the whole day vomitting before he went back.. does that sound like he enjoys it?

Morning all xx
Lovely to see LW popping in. I was waving madly alongside ionafan 🙂
Paid stuff today. I'm showered, dressed and breakfasted. Lunch is packed. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
Two pillow cases that match a duvet cover taken by DS put in the bag for him to take. Raggy nightdress is in the rag bag. I will conquer the mountain of stuff on my ottoman now that my bedroom floor is clear. 😇
Wishing you all a good day/ week. Hugs and an extra hug for asb - my PM box is always open my lovely. That's true for anyone who needs a shoulder to lean on.

Told DS when I picked him from the station that I'd watered the plant in his bedroom, he seemed happy that he didn't have to do it.
DD went to the cinema after school with her friends, so we had a fairly late dinner, it was good that she got to spend time with her friends.
Have a great day xx9 -
Realised this morning as I was making the tea that if I have to re-arrange stuff in a kitchen drawer to put things away in it that belong there that it's probably a bit overfull. So, a few of the mini storage boxes (100ml and 200ml) that I use to batch freeze things have been relocated to the cupboard under the front steps for when I batch cook cheese sauce etc. The drawer now looks quite civilized.Off out in a bit, so have a good day everyone and - Laters.Better is good enough.9

Round.. he isn't in now until Thursday so has 2 days to sort his CV and apply for new jobs... let's see if that actually happens! He has gone off to the gym today..
My thumb nail be fixified!! I am once again whole.
I have started filling out the form for Dot an EHCP so we will see where that leads. My arms are still really painful but a lot better than they were yesterday thankfully.
Bins are all nice and empty and ready to be refilled..
Loo bleached
Having a cuppa and looking some more at this form and getting food.. I may see if I can get my bedding changed this afternoon. Stripping it shouldn't be too hard and getting it in the washing machine.. hanging it out will be impossible.. but Boog can do thatand DS2 can load the DW...
I need to measure up curtains for DS2's room.. I've told him he can strip the walls this week. I will need to show him how but he can do this.. I am going to suggest he looks at painting and decortaing as a college course.. though I'm not sure how suitable it is as a career for someone with dyspraxia but it's better than slobbing in bed all week.

Hello all. Hugs where needed.
Today I have done the dailies, walked the dogs, cleaned behind all the radiators and then spent the rest of the morning sorting some home admin and getting various trades booked in for repairs and improvements. Hopefully all will be completed by the end of June.
Just having a cuppa then I'll steam mop the hard floors.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
DH has just reminded me it's our anniversary today. Dogs dropped at groomers and I have painted my nails. No more flying today then, it's a special day!Spend less now, work less later.9

Happy Anniversary x9

Pigpen I have been in a job where every Sunday I would start to feel physically ill from about 4pm onwards. Not good.
Happy anniversary Jazee!
I was in at the paid stuff at 7.45am, lots done. Home about an hour ago, dealt with a whiffy kitchen bin and defrosted some leftover chicken casserole to make into a pie for tea (ready made pastry so couldnt be easier). Windows flung open and our sheets have been changed. I need to remove the airers from DSs room as he is staying over tonight and wont appreciate my smalls dangling around his bedroom.
While DS is here I need to pin him down to booking a weekend off in August. Its our 25th wedding anniversary and I want to spend it with both boys and their girlfriends, after all the drama of DSs illness it will be nice to celebrate together. I am dreaming of a nice pub with rooms in the Lake District for us all to go and stay in for a weekend, I just need to save up!

Happy anniversary, Jazee!Foodbank day done, resultant emails and phone calls made. Stuff shoved in the attic that has been hanging around waiting to go up there for several days, stuff bought down that can be donated. I'm on a roll here finding little but often is definitely working for me.It is raining. I now have to walk the dog in the rain. Grr. (Not sure whether that's me or the dog.) She's not keen on getting wet. Someone needs to tell her spaniels are supposed to like water because she doesn't believe me. I got her to paddle once at low tide but she was very suspicious about it. If it's raining she's been known to look out of the door, turn tail and skip having a late night pee completely.Better is good enough.12
