I’ve jiggled the ebeast bags in my room and managed to empty 2 bags into one of the boxes.. things are moving!I filled a small bag for CS
put out a binbag of rubbish
put away lots of clean washing and have sorted a bag of outgrown pjs which I cannot match up so will throw in the rag bin. I haven’t made any visible progress but I know it is moved
oh.. I also found 7!!!! Tubes of toothpaste, 5 orange jellies and a bottle of orange oil.. let’s not ask why those are in my room or why I have so many..
I have some more bits to ebeast so may be filling a small bag up again as it is just in a pile right now.I may need to show you what I am up against.. and I know all the negative comments so please just don’t even say it... and yes it is a tampon on my bed I’ve just not put it away yet! Lol

Little-house-in-the-run emptied and cleaned, not least because Miffy refused to go in the run the other night so it's been slept (etc) in. Run repositioned over longer grass. When they're in the run they don't have actual bunny food but access to grass, whatever weeds/plants I've thrown in and hay (as well as water of course). They also have applewood in both to chew on.
I've swept the patio. Needs weeding though. I'm going to read the instructions on the Teak Oil next.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

No negative comments Piggers, just a supportive virtual hug x I don’t know how you manage everything that you do and am in awe of what you achieve x
Paid stuff grinding on today, I may need a chocolate break, I have a presentation to get done, haven’t started it yet and have no time with all the meetings to attend and all the regular work, I might end up having to work on it on the weekend.
on the flying front, dailies are done and a load has been swished, might do a bit more after paid stuff.
ok cuppa made and choccie found in cupboard, I’m off to do a few more hours x8 -
That, Piggers, would overwhelm everyone. You're an amazing woman, functioning in the midst of that amount of stuff. I'd be paralysed by it, totally unable to.You probably won't want to consider what Dana K White says this week about things, will you, if it was you saying last week that one container wouldn't be enough to hold the pens you need in your house? (My solution to that was to get hold of some of those Ik3a wooden sets of small drawers, one holds pens, one pencils, one felt tips/ball points, another erasers/sharpeners, another scissors etc. Both Belovéd and I write, all the time, whichever room we're in when we have an idea and there's nothing more frustrating than not being able to grab a pen and paper when the muse strikes. But I had to get rid of a load of crafting stuff to the Scrapstore because in the midst of all the stuff overwhelming me, nothing was getting done, and most certainly not crafting.) Well done on getting your OH to declutter his stuff back to the car from the sofa.I've been into town for the first time since January last year to get the things I really couldn't get anywhere else. I now have a pair of wearable slippers (the other have been worn to shreds, literally fallen apart and binned seconds ago), ditto bras (I binned the one I wore into town after visiting M&S - it was in tatters and had been for months), and all the other things like vitamins I've been just doing without. Very successful day it was too, but I have now done as much as I can for the day.Second jab tomorrow, a drop off at the CS, quick trip to Morribunds, then collect this week's paperwork from the Foodbank and then I think I'm done. Last time I was felled by the jab that evening, and properly out of it for 36 hours so I don't plan on doing very much on Saturday.
Better is good enough.8 -
The garden is looking a bit better.
OH is borrowing the van tomorrow to whizz a huge amount to the tip. That should clear some stuff.
I have listed my unused sewing machine to sell.. it was £1200 originally.. I've had it a long time and they are £750-800 on ebeast currently so hoping I can get a few quids. I have 3 boxes of fabric which I need to let go as well. I'm not going to use any of it any time soon so it may as well go.
I can not face doing any more in my room today so I'm having a cuppa and doing dinner and the rest will still be there tomorrow. OH has more stew from yesterday, the girls can have freezer gibble..DW has been on again so I have clear worktops and several deep catscratches on my hands from saving Puddings life.. he was hanging by his front legs and I got hold of him so he didnt fall but he was panicking.DS2 is emptying his room to the middle room.. his room is my weekend project.. you know how I love a project! haha.

I can look at the gibble when I can see it. I'm happy to have the 3 tins of pens, I have one in the kitchen, one next to my bed and one in the front room.. but the dead chair has to go, and the dead sofa, a dead bed, the dead underlay, the dead stuff from the garden including the 97000 pallets OH has scavenged and the 6 concrete fence posts and the tv stand and table from the front garden.. I don't want to keep everything, I don't really want to keep anything so far.. What she says makes perfect sense but I think her home might have been much better than mine at the beginning of her journey. I need more time and more motivation. If I had someone to take over the laundry and DW and general dailies I could put more time into the sorting. I am making an effort. I want it to be better and it is very slowly getting there, I have 3 vaguely presentable rooms.. I think once the big big stuff is gone I can start looking at the smaller big stuff and shuffle what we do have.
I find it incredibly hard to find motivation to do anything with other people visibly doing nothing.. like OH sat in his chair.DS2 is traumatised.. I binned a beanbag and an old tft portable tv.. He is sorting stuff to live in the loft to free up storage space under his bed. Once I have done his room (duckegg blue on 2 walls and stripes on the other 2, underlay shoved under the carpet, carpet washed and new navy bedding as his is holey) .. we want to decorate the girls room.. it is baby pink and they want it turquoise and Pixie needs a 4ft bed so they can all sleep together like puppies.. it was last done 10 years ago so is tired looking. I need to source curtain for DS2's room and hopefully it will be nice and fresh even if it does still smell like farts and socks! I don't need to buy anything for DS2's room though and I need to buy 10L of paint and a bed for the girls room.. so lots of saving will be needed and I have more important things to pay for right now.
Rescheduled boiler service.. 5th July.. soonest they had.. The engineer was very pleased I think..

Hi all
Pigpen Yes that would overwhelm anyone but no-one has any right to judge, you have a lot going on and far more demands on your time than me. Sounds like you are making progress and getting rid of the big stuff will really help.
Well done on ringing up Round, at least you know what's what. I have rung the doctors (appointment made), dentist (they arent ready for me yet) and optician. I am allowed to have a free trial of varifocal contact lenses. My prescription sunglasses have broken and I would love to have some contact lenses that I can wear for cycling and sunny days, no idea what they cost but we shall see.
Long day at the paid stuff, year end accounts and info for auditor sorted, tired now. Kitchen and bathroom swished, one load of washing done, 20 minute brisk walk to get some fresh air. Wont be late to bed.

YL.. glad you've fit the self care in there!! I hope the contacts work out, they sound really useful! I judge, I judge hard!! No one can say anything I haven't said 1000 times and my opinion is really the only one I am interested in regarding that heap.. There is a lot of cot bedding I have listed on ebeast and FB and also a lot of people bedding I don't have room in cupboards to put away... YET!!! That is the all important word.. yet...
the last lot off the line is airing in the TD, the cats are all in.. and alarmingly quiet.. the girls are all in bed.. much better behaviour tonight, clearly I am much scarier than Daddy and I carry out punishments of no ipads/Xbox, tidying and extra maths homework etc.. They have all been in the garden pulling up weeds today though so that was fun..
Twinkle FINALLY read her reading book, she has had it since 17th March and claimed to not even know the letters!! She is such a dork.. She whizzed through the book so that's one job worth putting off the flinging for!
DS2 is getting more distressed by the minute having to move stuff about lol... I need to decorate this room as fast as humanly possible. I might bother m mother for the paste table tomorrow.. it i almost 3 years to the day that I bought the wallpaper for his room.. I do like to procrastinate! lol

A successful morning was had in DG’s loft. We have cleared a third of it now and have taken most of it to the tip. There was a scary wind up clown unopened, why? Also an unused cheese making set. Dancepops was a printer by trade and we found card stocks for dance invitations which brought back childhood memories. There is a printing press up there somewhere.
I found myself redesigning her kitchen. I decided if I removed the dishwasher then I could fit a full sized tumble dryer in.Meeting was OK7 -
Morning all.
I MUST cut the grass today.
Have a great day everyone. It's Friday!Spend less now, work less later.11
