I know.. and I know that if I stress too much about it all now then I won't be enjoying my small people and our nutty conversations and as much as I would love rid of the chaos I would really rather have that and watch my small people grow.. time invested in them is not wasted whereas time attempting to achieve tidy feels like it is because I miss out on life and I alreayd missed out on enough of that.

Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
Its do nothing Saturday and DH has just popped to the shop to buy me a paper. DD has the dogs for the weekend so I am taking the opportunity to wash all their beds. Rain is forecast from about 10am so I probably won't be able to meet up with friends this afternoon but there's a football match to watch.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning my lovelies xx
I'm up my bed is made and my (still unused) sewing machine has been moved from my bedroom. More floor. 🙂
The one item removed every time I open or close the bedroom curtains is working for me. I'm working on a plan to do the same on the rest of the house. I've even found myself eyeing the mountain of stuff in the RoD with a view to using the same method- usually I just close the door.
As I look around most rooms are half done now. DS's dad called the other evening and commented on how much progress I've made. I tend to see what still needs to be done rather than what is done. So it was good to be reminded that I am achieving after all.
HB - you are my inspiration still. ❤
I'm supping my first brew. I will then shower and get dressed before updating my calendar- it's still on April. I've been given a date for my eye op - Tuesday 8th June. It's at Goole hospital so I've asked them to arrange transport. So that's that then. Sorted.
So many of you are going through tough times- love to you all.

I'm showered and dressed. I've supped another brew. I've sorted the washing and first load has finished swishing - rain forecast so it will be draped on radiators and airer to dry.
I've fed the birds and put out the recycling. I haven't updated my calendar yet - but I have been through my emails and also completed an order for slippers, lightweight dressing gown, knickers and adhesive hooks - to hang the dressing gown onSo I won't look like a waif and stray when I go to the hospital. (The last time I had day surgery (2017) I had my old threadbare dressing gown and muley slippers that were not meant for traipsing down hospital corridors in. Lesson learned)
Right - sort washing, empty bins, toast and update calendar. Probably in that order.

Went to post, read Round’s last post, remembered that the wm had switched off “a while” ago, and I still had to rescue the wet washing. Washing now hung indoors, as it’s just stopped raining, but more forecast for the rest of the day.Ordered new slippers for DH, used his card as there is only so far that my goodwill goes.
Dinner in sc, smells good already.
Time for another brew, then a fridge to sort out - again. Also need to sort out the blanket box (better folded than DKW’s!) as I had to rummage for a pillow case yesterday and found single sheets that I thought had gone out already.9 -
Round, if you have time wash the new dressing gown so it feels like yours.. nothing worse than uncomfy starchy new things when you just need to be comfy. I am not too far away if you need anything.
Van is RAMMED.. Utterly rammed. We got about half of what we wanted to get in, in..
Lunch scoffed and I had very low blood sugar so I scoffed a chocolate wafer or two and just having a cuppa while my inner equilbrium stabilises.
DW on.. it will need to go on again
DS2 going to shop for bread and milk and cucumber..
OH at work, his rold today is.... flshing toilets and running taps! ... seriously!
Right.. paint and dust here I come!

Piggers - describe at as Legionella-safe routing maintenance!
rain - going to have to bite the bullet and use the TD.
Vent - I'm in a teachers' group on FB. The spelling! The grammar! If I were appointing I would be trawling social media!
