Afternoon Folks x
morning spent at the dance studio then I have had a nap. Had my 2nd jabbity yesterday and my arm is killing and I couldn’t stay awake.
Getting up now to start dinner.Glad you are feeling better Valli x8 -
Ditto, Dancemum. My reaction to the second jab wasn't as strong as the first one, but I've taken today out of it. Feeling better now.
Better is good enough.9 -
Hi all
Up early, stretch and tone class done, whizzed hoover around the whole house, scrubbed bathroom and DS loo, sorted some recycling, put some washing over the airer, then went to garden centre. Curry out of the freezer for tea. DH is going fishing tomorrow, no idea what I will do but I dont mind too much, I can go for a bike ride and pootle about on my own.
We are camping next weekend and I am very excited, I might sort some camping bits out tomorrow. We have camped regularly for about the last 15 years but didnt go at all last year.
Oh and we have done a freezer inventory and a mealplan, we have a delivery booked from Mr T next Thursday and I want to last until then without shopping.9 -
Valli said:Piggers - describe at as Legionella-safe routing maintenance!
rain - going to have to bite the bullet and use the TD.
Vent - I'm in a teachers' group on FB. The spelling! The grammar! If I were appointing I would be trawling social media!
I know why... it is just funny... he spent an hour pushing the buttons on taps which only run for 20 seconds!
I have been known to correct spellings and maths the teachers have done wrong.. and also on the high school applications where they asked for a 'signiture' .. also was corrected and returned to the LA.. I didn't know those forms were scanned and sent to all the schools we had applied for.. oops!
2 walls painted
HUGE tip run done.. the poor guy waiting to go home nearly cried when we turned up in a rammed full transit lol.
DW running
Dinner done
7 bags of food dropped at my mothers.
All in all a rather productive day..
Oh, I did have to bring a table leg back form the tip.. it had been stored in the garden for a few days and had a caterpillar on it, I could not in good conscience throw a living creature into the skips to die.

Eventually I got my rear in gear and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. I flung a boiled kettle ful of waster in the bucket and cleared the kitchen and 'utility' drain covers. WM uses 'utility' drain. It's not actually a separate room - I have a step in my kitchen. I've also potted up the geraniums...second batch I bough as the first was attacked by frost. TD and WM filled and ready
to run. Fancied fajitas for tea but Mr L hasn't had any wraps for a couple of weeks.

Well I’ve been awake since 5am... laid in bed.. watching the world wake up. Everyone else is snoring.. including Dot!!!!!!I need sleep but my brain is dancing.. I’m not even sure what it is thinking about .I had another early night.. simply wore myself out yesterday, 12000 steps!!! I’ve not managed that since September!! Haha!! .. but now I am awake! This is my usual 5 hours sleep and the reason I go to bed at 2am lol.Today..

laundry shuffle
paint the same 2 walls a third coat and get the woodwork done.
mould clearing and remove mirrors.
strip remaining paper and find the lining paper.. the walls need it. I will wallpaper next weekend I think. My hands already hurt from yesterday.

Morning all
I did a big shop yesterday, freezers now bulging, lots of £ spent but we should now only need top up type shops for a few weeks, I also ran various errands. DH started the housework while I was out and then we finished off yesterday afternoon.
Feeling pretty tired today so will have an easier day, I do have a shoe cupboard to build to finish off the hallway and the usual laundry, wm will be set to swish soon.
have a good day x8 -
Morning all.
Pigpen, I usually wake up as the sun comes up and peeks through the curtains, though today I managed to doze until 5.45 because it is hazy. I love the first hour of the day when it is peaceful and I can sit quietly with my cuppa and read. Unfortunately, this morning I didn't get that as my K!nd1e decided to have a strop and I couldn't unlock the screen - I think it had got overheated when I threw a pillow on top of it - but I've just tried switching it off completely and on again, and it's OK now.
Yesterday I managed to reduce my "to do" list by a couple of items and filed most of a pile of papers.
My main job today has to be to take photos of the things I want to put on Freecycle - I need to clear the utility. I must also check the plants that are in the mini-greenhouse, and maybe plant out the sweet peas, which are probably already lanky, into the patio pots. Since I put the new, thicker, green plastic cover on the gh at the start of this year, I have tended to forget what is inside because I can't see through the material. Now I'm hoping my geraniums haven't gone the same way as Valli's first batch!
Hope everyone else has slept well (especially Fayolle) . Have a good day, Flyfriends. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks for anyone in need xxx8 -
Morning all
Not happy this morning. DH has taken himself off fishing. When we discussed this a few weeks back I said I didnt mind him going fishing so long as he took his van and not the car, so I wasnt stranded at home for 12 hours. He knows I am finding it hard being at home 5 days out of 7 at the moment. So, he has gone off early this morning, with the car. Without saying anything.
Sooo, that leaves me at home all day on my own with no way of going anywhere and doing anything. Which sounds a bit pathetic but there you go. I will get the bike out and go for a cycle ride in a bit, but I feel all a bit discombobulated now and a bit anxious about cycling on my own.
I need coffee first then I need to make a plan. I am not going to waste my Sunday feeling upset and angry.11 -
Ah YL... how annoying. Hide the keys next time
woke up early and went to put TD on... however was sunny and warm and dry so the neighbours have been treated to me pegging out in my nightie. Put towels back in for a rinse and spin. I spun them while I was pegging, the water was soapy so I decided another rinse was necessary.
Back in bed now. Will peg out the towels later.
