Beasties and a very clean looking Harvey away to school after remembering Twinkle has PE today so we threw shorts over her tights and took her dress off.. done! OH picking up Jazzles..
I need to get find clothes! I have a headache, but I did manage to get back to sleep for an hour.
I have a fair pile of washing to get through again, the weather looks less inclement today though so hopefully it willl get dried.
OH has cat trays to deal with. He is to be issued with the last warning of..' if you want this stuff put it back in the blooming car or I am putting it in the bin.. you have 1 hour.. ' ... it is taking up sofa room and really annoying me now.
I have laundry and the kallax to deal with.. Ebeast stuff to post and fruit to buy.
I have a Morries delivery 12-2.. ordered through Am@z0n
I need to empty and turn off the frost free freezer.. it is VERY noisy which usually means the refrigeration unit is iced up so I need to defrost it before it stops working completely.

Morning, and thank you for the list Valli.
Ok after my wobble yesterday, although if you asked Dave he'd say it was a full blown meltdown. I am being good to myself today and only going to do a small amount of packing. Although once I get started I do get carried away..lolBit depressed as yesterday's weigh in was not good - I've had to go over to afternoon weigh in instead of early morning, like I was doing and I had put on 3lb from the early morning weighing. So am now upping my game for this week and hoping to get back to a decent weigh in next week.
Just found out someone I know who lives in Israel is right in the middle of the bombings from last night. So worried about her..hope her and her family can stay safe.Still feeling pretty rotten in myself but as I know it'll pass I'm not worried. Although I've gone online and cancelled everything that I ordered yesterday in my pity party. My default, when I'm in an episode, is to spend money irrationally and with no regard. Its really weird as I have rational thinking when I'm like this. The joys of my mental illnesses...ugh!!!So thankfully I could recover the damage caused and cancel nearly everything. Anything that I couldn't will be sent back.
My to-do list today is:* Hoover all of upstairs* Get showered and dressed* Pack a couple of boxes* Go for a short walk to post a letter* Finish pen pal letterThat should be enough for me today.Hugs everyone xxMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Natty hold onto that thought, this is a blip and it will pass. Funny because I am inclined to spend when I am feeling down too. Its all tied up in the short term good feeling that having "new stuff" brings. Much love x
Round I echo what Fayolle says, are they going to put anything in writing? If not ring them up and tell them you are not sure what they said to you, I have rung up with questions before.
Speaking of hospital letters, DS has a letter from the consultant explaining what she said to him on Monday, it arrived here because he hasnt changed his postal address. I want to open it, but have to wait patiently and hope DS lets me read it.
Slept badly, I forgot to do something at work, no big drama because someone reminded me before it became a problem, but for some reason I was fretting about it last night. Up early, went for a walk/jog, into the office by 8.30am, full day at the paid stuff, stir fry for tea. DH is yet to land home. Very little flying done unless you count sweeping the utility room floor.

Fayolle and YL - you must have channelled your thoughts to me. At lunch time I phoned and asked what the consultant was planning to do. It's retinal cryopexy - freezing the bleed. It needs to be done under general anaesthetic because I need to be very still for the procedure. And it will probably be done at Goole Hospital - if I can't get there I can book transport. I feel much better for the clarification 🙂
I passed a car on fire in the village as I drove to work. And met several police cars heading towards the village. There's been an armed robbery at the village Co-op. What is the world coming to? I live in a sleepy village out in the sticks.
I've put the brown bin out ready for emptying tomorrow. And moved a holder full of classical LPs out of my bedroom. More floor. It's looking less and less like a jumble sale in there.

meh...sinus pain, coughing, sniffles, it's a full-on cold. Day off tomorrow so I can lie in (and since someone has told me I look ill I shall).

Hope you feel better soon Valli. Round, you must live quite close to me.
Anyhow, horrible day at work, tomorrow will be the same unfortunately and I couldn't summon up the enthusiasm between shifts to fly so only the dailies have been done.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Evening all.
Hope Harvey enjoyed being back at school.
Glad you got answers to your questions, round x
Fayolle, I hope DD and DH coped without you - you need a break from being a carer xxx
Natty, I'm sorry to hear you had a blip yesterday and hope you've felt better today. Be kind to yourself.
YL, you can relax - I have done your share of flying today (sorry it wasn't in your house!) x
Hope you feel better tomorrow, Valli. Sinusitis is the worst pain, but the over-the-counter medicines usually work on me - might be worth a try?
I have done loads today, of which the most important has been clearing the decks for my new computer to be set up, then trying to adjust to Windows 10. So far so good, but fingers crossed!
I have also washed and hung out to dry all the clothes that I culled from wardrobe yesterday, all DH's bedding, a load of towels, and a load of DH's clothes. The clean bedding is now back on DH's bed - and I remembered to turn the mattress round first
I scrubbed out the ensuite (not my bathroom, so that only leaves one other user!) which was absolutely mingingIt took almost a whole bottle of distilled vinegar to clean the loo
I have done some financial paperwork for church, in preparation for another Gift Aid claim.
I also put some ancestral paperwork in order - yay! - but need to update my family tree record on the PC before I can consider that person sorted. One day I might be able to identify his wife and six children, (mentioned by him in a response to a newspaper article which I found online), but since they were probably all born in Demerara (now Guyana) where he was a missionary in the early 1800s, it will be quite a job to find them.
I cooked our main meal at lunchtime, but DH redeemed himself slightly by putting together a salad for tea.
And of course Rosie has had her walk. It was beautiful in the woods, and very quiet as all the jackdaws have moved along to the copse at the back of our house and set up their nursery class outside this window...
Now off to relax with repairs and sewing

Evening I’m in bed and can hardly keep my eyes open. I visited WAW club room at 2&4am.
Took DH to work at 6.30am then cleaned bathroom and vacuumed upstairs
spend a few hours at dancegran’s. My uncle filled him car with charity shop items and we had a little sort in all of the rooms. My sister collected 3 boxes of photos to sort and slim down. We opened a box together marked crockery from various grandmothers. It was exciting. Sadly there were a few discoloured dishes and a broken plate. I’m thinking of requesting 2 cups and saucers with pink flowers on although I don’t often use the white ones I have.
When sister had left I had a lovely conversation with one of DG’s neighbours.
DH has booked 2 days off so we can do some more clearing there.10 -
Tif the sinus pain wasn't severe and being vertical helped. And now they appear to have emptied despite the fact that I slept through most of the Repair Shop. Head melted as I woke up at about 8:50 and it was still daylight...took me a while to assimilate that,
anyway rabbits transferred from trunk to hutch, bins emptied and black bin out. About a quarter full...
i was in the WAC most of last night. Hoping I stay out of there tonight. I did WUALTD so my Traidcraft carafe is topped up with freshwater and the teas made ready to make my morning coffee. J'ai YS croissants (low fat) pour ma petit dejeuner. Valli.. we have a cold doing the round in my house too.. Jazzles was here and DS1 coughed so Jazzles shouted ' Auntie has da 'rona ' .. I sneezed and he said 'I help you Grandma' and passed me a kitchen roll to blow my snoot.
Lionel loved his cake smash.. I will share a pic when we get them..
My house is trashed.. I have got 4 loads of washing done, it's all dried.. but needs folding and putting away.
The girls have been turds at bed time all week so they are in for a BIG shock when it is me putting them to bed from next week when OH is back at work.. Lordy help them!! lol I don't stand for ANY messing whereas OH is a pushover.
The freezer is still defrosting.. I will have to turn it on though I have a bag of frozen stuff slowly defrosting in a cool box in the kitchen.. I wi sort that now and get to my nest. Hopefully the freezer will have defrosted enough to not be silly when turned back on.. that or it will explode.. either way.. lol
*fills up the hot drinks and squash cupboard and puts mini rolls on the side for the WAC*
NN all ... xx
