Thanks for your comments everyone. 😃
Another fortnight gone since posting! I must do better than this. 😱
Anyway.....
THINGS I WENT TO...
DSis and I went to see 'Mama Mia' which was just as great as I remembered - excellent cast and you forget how many great songs ABBA recorded. Everyone was up at the end singing along and enjoying themselves. We had a really nice meal afterwards.I also went to a really tasty cheese and wine evening with two pals held in one of the little local cafes we frequent. It was £39.50 each but well worth the money as we had four courses of two cheeses each plus a trio of desserts each to finish with a glass of wine/port to complement each course. We also had different breads, crackers, nuts, fruit, pickles etc with each cheese course. We had to take doggy bags home from the last cheese course as we were so full that we wouldn't have been able to eat the dessert! (quelle horreur!😱) Would definitely do this again!😋
And I had my first cinema visit last week since lockdown. My friend and I went to see 'Respect' starring Jennifer Hudson about the life of Aretha Franklin which was excellent. It was very Covid friendly at the cinema. You had to book your ticket online and they scanned your online tickets when you got there. The ticket machines have been replaced by machines to order and pay for any eats or drinks. You then get a ticket with a number and get called to the counter to collect your order. There was only four other people in the theatre so very socially distanced!WEIGHT
i lost 2.5lb at Slimming World two weeks ago to bring me to a 6lb loss. I missed last week as I had already booked a guy in to clean my sofa, armchair and bedroom carpet that morning. I thought he would be finished in time but he took ages so I missed the class. I'm off to class tomorrow so hoping for a bit of a weight loss even though I've had a few eats and drinks out lately (see above)!
This week I'm off to the cinema again to see The Sopranos prequel 'The Many Saints of Newark', hoping to drive over to our nearest big shopping mall with friends for a mooch and lunch, plus meeting up for coffee with a woman who works at my old firm who has recently moved near me.My flu jab was due this Saturday but has been cancelled due to 'delivery issues' and has been rescheduled for Saturday week.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Usual budgeted things including the meals out, cinema tickets etc. Some iTunes and kindle downloads plus the carpet/upholstery cleaning.I've also booked tickets to the Christmas Show in November. Plus I'm off to stay with DD in October as she has been called back to work in the office two days per week so I will be at her home in the North of England for a couple of weeks and have booked my rail tickets - a good discount on a first class advance return plus extra with my Senior Railcard. I've also booked my air flights to Scotland for New Year using the last of my EasyJet refund which took care of half the cost. 👍Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

It sounds as if you are having a lovely time SSG. I have been and collected a form to fill in for a senior railcard this afternoon as I was out and about in town. I was passing the train station so called in. I want an actual card rather than a virtual one on my phone. I’m hoping for a couple of trips down to see my Dd.
My friend has got me a ticket for my birthday to see The Drifters when they play in our local theatre in October so I’m thrilled to bits. I’ve got us tickets to see a show about The Dubliners - not sure what it’ll be like but I quite like a bit of Irish music.January spends - £587.582 -
Sounds like you’re having a great time going to the shows/cinema. I’m glad everything is slowly starting up again and looking forward to going to a show in the very near future.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thanks @beanielou @milann and @Sun_Addict. 😃
@milann - I bought an actual Senior Railcard rather than an online version - I don't trust the online technology - it would be my luck than something happens with my phone when I try to let the ticket inspector see the card! Bet you're looking forward to seeing The Drifters and The Dubliners show. I'm off to see the new Drifters musical in December - can't wait!😃I lost 1lb at SW yesterday - which basically means half a pound a week since I was last weighed. It could have been better I suppose but I had a few eats out and at least the weight went in the right direction. So 7lbs in total and I got my Half a Stone award certificate! This afternoon my friend and I went to see The Sopranos prequel at the cinema. I bought the coffees there as she bought them last week. Excellent film if you're a Sopranos fan.Tomorrow I'm off with two pals to visit our nearest big shopping mall and have some lunch. I can't remember the last time I was there - it was well before the first lockdown - I'm hoping not too many shops have closed. ☹️SCRIMPY RETIREMENT THINGS
Yesterday I picked up £29 from the dress agency. Also bought some fruit and lottery ticket. Today was just the coffees at the cinema. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Well I never bought much at the mall in the end - six teaspoons in Dunhelm (I only had two left - what black hole do teaspoons disappear into!🤔) and a pendant necklace, plant based Kiev's and a bottle of wine in M&S! Still it was nice to have a mooch with my pals. Also bought tickets for the new Bond film. It was good, but not as good as Casino Royale in my opinion and I had mixed feelings about it.DSis and I had a lovely day out at the day spa for her birthday. Also went out afterwards to a new restaurant recently opened near me. Had a really good raspberry mohito there.Biggest news for me is that I had the extension type remedial done for my thinning hair. I'm so pleased with it and wish I'd had it done earlier. It's my hair style but just looks thicker on top and at the back without looking flash and 'too much' if you know what I mean.Anyway, I am currently on a train on my way up to the North of England to stay with DD for a couple of weeks. She's been called down from Scotland by her firm. Her OH has had to stay in Scotland for now because of work and new Giant Puppy which has accompanied the other one who is now a Giant Adolescent Puppy!MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Apart from above and usual budgeted things, I cashed out £16 from Topcashback and £20 from Opinium. Also got my annual contents insurance for £42 via comparison site instead of £80 they were asking me for to renew! Put this through Topcashback so should get an extra £32 at some stage! So a good result!👍
