Thanks @Sun_Addict@beanielou and @Onebrokelady. 😃Our meal out for DD's belated birthday was delicious and she really enjoyed it!😋. I also had a really lovely day out meeting my MSE friends. Good company, nice lunch and a mooch around the shops afterwards - one of my favourite things to do! Hoping to meet up again before too long.Had a nice weekend with DD as she wasn't working. We had lunch out both days - Saturday at a good little vegetarian cafe and a more 'posher' place yesterday. We decided to treat ourselves to cocktails at the posher place - DD had a smokey ginger martini and I had a fruity G&T. Afterwards DD bought some nice bread from the local famous cafe and bakery and I admired their shop window. They always have such beautiful displays and their latest tHalloween themed one did not disappoint! 🎃.Today I'm having a slouchy day indoors which is just as well as it's pouring outside at the moment!☔️ - DD is WFH today.SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Lunches and a couple of taxi fares - I also bought a BaByliss Rotating hair styler as the hair salon recommended this for styling my 'new' hair. I'm still getting to grips with it - I'm useless at styling hair and always used to let it air dry as it was so fine and straight but will persevere. And I finally bought a new phone. My old one was the iPhone 6 but I didn't necessarily want to buy the new 13 - I ended up buying the 12 Max which was a lot cheaper than the 13. Plus it was an ex display model so I got a good discount. I also bought a new charger, plastic protector screen and rubber case and got 10% off these. The girl who served me was very helpful and sorted out transferring my data from the old phone so I didn't have to bother with anything! Oh - and I bought a iPhone instruction manual in WH Smith for the phone as I want to get to grips with all the things it can do as I'm a bit lazy with this. I know you can get instruction on line but I'm old-fashioned and prefer a paper manual.😁The cost of the phone came from my 'Tech' budget whereby I allow a sum each month for this on YNAB. I've been saving up for quite a while - I bought my new laptop from this budget back in the New Year and still have a little left in it after buying the new phone. 💷

The meal and drinks for your dd birthday sounded lovely.
I have a paper instruction book for my iPad which the family think is very amusing 😂😂 I’d rather have a book in my hand anyway 👍January spends - £587.582 -
@milann - I have a book for my iPad as well!🤣. I just find it so much easier to have a book in one hand and the device in the other! I don't care if I'm a bit of a Luddite!🤣Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I’m a devil for ignoring instructions so instruction booklets in any form are a waste on me. I just press buttons and hope for the best 😆 Having said that I prefer my recipes in book form rather than online.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Happy new phone 😊 that ginger martini sounds nice, my cocktail of choice is an Espresso Martini or a Black Russian 😍Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202
