@Seasidegal58 do you have a free bus pass yet?  If you do perhaps keep your Oyster card in the same holder, that’s what I do.
  • Heave a great night at the theatre .

Interesting reading about the hair extensions. Someone I knew for years had hers done and I only recently discovered it because she told me. It looked great. Go for it!

    Enjoy the theatre :)

A single dad near us has just had a hair thing (best description here !) think he goes every couple of months for them to lift and restick, in the mean time he just treats it like normal hair.  The boost it’s given him is immense

Good for you getting the hair extensions. Can’t put a price on the confidence it’ll give you. You can afford it so life is for living - go for it 👍

Thanks everyone for your votes of confidence on the hair!  😃 It's much appreciated - hair is such an emotional thing - it's not till it starts to disappear that you realise how important it is to your self-esteem. I'm booked in at the salon the first week of October. I then have to go back three days after for a lesson in how to wash my new head of hair and style it.

@joedenise - I've recently received my bus pass. I'm going to do exactly what you have suggested and keep it and the Oyster card in a holder in my bag.👍  I used to do this with the Oyster and my train season ticket.

The ELO Experience concert was fab-u-lous!  They sounded just like the real band!  Did all the old hits and a few others. Three fantastic girls on strings as well.  I was so pleased that they sang my favourite track 'Rockaria' and they finished with a blinding finale of 'Mr Blue Sky'. The tickets were £29 each and we had great stalls seats. One of my friends had booked tickets to see the real ELO at the O2 before Covid scuppered it - she paid £150 each......  I know it's not the same, but for a good night out in a local venue just down the road.......🤔

Today I'm chilling - have a few things to catch up with on the box. My friend has recommended a thriller series on Netflix called 'Click Bait' which she said was really good. I shall investigate...

We went to an ELO tribute a few years ago. We did an Eagles one too. They were both brilliant. I know they are coming to our town again fairly soonish so need to look into it 👍

  • Should have seen The Eagles at Wembley yesterday but the show was cancelled - very sad bur hope they will tour again one day.  A few years ago we saw a great tribute to Genesis just before we saw the real band.  Both shows were excellent.
