I’m in the Beanie and INOD club too 👋👍
I remember going around to my mil-to-be in the days you had sandwiches and tinned fruit with carnations cream from Sunday tea. In my house we always ate roast meat from dinner with salad in our butties….I nearly gagged on sardine sandwiches 🥴 never tried them since and I’ve no intention of doing so 😂😂
Well done on the losses Seaside gal. You’ve done amazingly well. You should be proud. You’ve had a busy time. How rude of the 18 year old…..I wouldn’t be sending any more presents his way. But that’s my cut off age for pressies unless it’s a special birthday.January spends - £587.583 -
Resisting the urge to stick up for the humble sardine!

Thank you everyone!😀
@milan - the Birthday Boy got a present purely because it was his 18th and I was invited to the meal. He won't be getting any more from me. Like you I stop with presents when the recipients reach 18 - apart from my nephew - he will continue to receive as he is immediate family.@doingitanyway - Yes! Hooray for the humble sardine!😂😂😂. I'm afraid he comes into the same category as Marmite! You either love him or hate him! Although I do love Marmite too!
Wow! The weekend has sped by! On Saturday I popped into town for a mooch. I bought some toiletries in Boots - Listerine and Aveeno body moisturiser and hand cream which are my favourites. I bought these with my Boots points so no cash spent here. Also from M&S bought some Thousand Island dressing and some Smoky BBQ chicken drumsticks both of which I'm a fan of.
In the evening I watched an old DVD of 'American Gigolo' in honour of Giorgio Armani who passed away. One of my favourite designers - I always yearned for one of his suits for work back in the 80s, but alas could never afford one! The film was so of its time - Richard Gere at his height of fame wearing those gorgeous Armani clothes!😍
On Sunday morning I had early brunch with my friend - the girls in the cafe know us so well now and just say to us - 'The usual?' We always apologise for being so boring!😂
In the afternoon I decided to give my make up drawer a good sort out. I had just finished a foundation and I currently have another three. I'm not buying any more till they're used up! Also threw away a lipstick which I've never worn and had for ages. It was in a colour I thought I'd try but basically every time I picked it up I chose something else. I've certainly got enough lipsticks and glosses to keep me going. Also got rid of two lip liners, again in the wrong shades. A concealer, eye shadow brush and two eye pencils also passed their best hit the dust! I cleaned out the drawer and arranged everything back neatly and it looks much better now.Today was a quiet one - I just went out to pick up my meds. I've started my old 'Clean and Organise Your Home in 30 days' routine today which i have a habit of doing whenever a new season starts. Day 1 today was doing the daily tidying up and making sure everything is in its place and the bathroom and kitchen are clean and tidy too. Today's special jobs were organising and clearing the spice rack and getting on top with the laundry! Well I sorted out the spices plus my oils and condiments cupboards a few weeks ago and I do keep on the top of my laundry. As it was Monday it was my day for changing the bed anyway so the used bed clothes went into the machine.SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Spends were M&S food bits and my share of Sunday brunch.I've also sold the beach bag I had on Vinted. Just two tops and one pair of trousers on there now. They're summer bits so if they haven't been sold by Saturday I'm taking them to the charity shop as I want to start selling my autumn/winter stuff that doesn't fit any more.WEIGHT
I think has gone well this week. I've started titrating down on my Mounjaro doses today by dropping down to my new 10mg pen from the 12.5mg so will see how it goes. It's weigh in day tomorrow- the past week's calories have averaged out at 1230 per day so hopefully I'll show a loss when I get on the scales in the morning. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Ooh, I like the idea of a 30 day cycle for cleaning and organising the home. I should be doing the same...
I too yearned for an Armani suit once...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

You might laugh but I have a subscription to the Patreon app for The Organised Mum Method where she has guided timed cleans. I love it, it’s like having a personal trainer for cleaning 🤣On the subject of ‘same again’ the waiter at a bar in Ibiza we were in last week remembered my tipple from last year 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I need to start doing some deep cleaning/tidying. I used to have certain jobs I did in the school holidays but now I’m not working I have no routine and have noticed a few things that need a ‘good bottoming’ I have sorted out my shed this week so my halo is shining as it’s something I’ve been going to do all summer 😇
