Thanks @doingitanyway, @Sun_Addict and @milann. ❤️
@doingitanyway- the method I use is from a book called '30 Days to a Clean and Organised House' by Katie Berry and which I found by researching on Kindle a couple of years ago. She's an American with a cleaning and organising website and I like the method because you slowly work through your whole home over a month. You have a Daily Routine which is basically tidying each room - making sure you make the bed and tidying things in the bedroom, giving the bathroom a wipe around the shower/bath, sink and loo, making sure you clear up in the kitchen and tidying the living room - all things I think most of us do anyway. Then there are the three daily categories - Cleaning, Organising and Maintenance - that constitute the 30 day plan. She focuses on one room at a time with daily routines until you finish the whole room over a few days then go on to the next room. Also each day there will be little tasks to do in other rooms so by the time you get to focusing on the room as a whole, you have actually done a few more things to make the whole process easier.I enjoyed my lunch on Thursday with my friend and her sister who was visiting from abroad. I went up to the City which was handy as the tube strike was on but I don't need the tube if I go to the City, just use the overland train. We had a really, really long lunch and such a great time and a laugh!
On Friday afternoon an old neighbour popped round for coffee. I bought a couple of slices of scrummy Bakewell cake from one of our local cafes to serve which went down a treat. 🍰Saturday was quiet and I didn't do much - the weather was a bit chilly and didn't know what to do with itself - one minute pouring with rain and the next quite sunny.Today is pretty much the same weather wise. I popped out earlier and bought a couple of bits from Tesco. This afternoon was spent watching some YouTubers I follow and an episode of Miss Marple starring the wonderful Joan Hickson!
SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Usual spends like gym, Pilates, lunch out plus train fare and taxi home from station, cakes, monthly collagen powder and food bits. Also an extra Mounjaro pen as the pharmacy was offering £30 off if you ordered this month.
And I renewed my Senior Railcard which was about to expire after being reminded on @Onebrokelady's diary. I've bought the three year card for £80 which works out cheaper than buying the one year. I had to buy this from savings as I'd completely forgotten to include the category monthly on YNAB! This has been rectified so £2.50 per month which is the cost over three years plus an extra 10% as it's bound to have gone up by the time I renew again!
Plus I bought a pair of Adidas Speziale trainers - brand new on Vinted for nesrly half price! These are black suede with white leather trim and very smart!
Also cashed out £8.50 on Topcashback and renewed my one electricity year fix with 🐙

I’m pretty certain I’ve got that book too. The weather has been the same here, one minute lively and sunny the next pouring with rain!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Yes, weather the same here.
Glad you enjoyed your lunch. I love a long lunch. In fact I prefer going out for lunch more than eating out in the evening. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

TODAY - PART DEUX - WEIGHT
I weighed myself on Tuesday - a very satisfactory weekly loss of 0.9lb!👍
On Friday I also had my Monthly Calendar Weigh-In which resulted in a loss of 9.4lb - tremendous! According to my scales app since I started my Mounjaro journey last August my average loss has been a good, sensible 7.2lb per month. Hopefully it won't be too long before I drop from a size 18 to 16.It's weekly Mounjaro dose day tomorrow - second dose of 10mg pen. My next 10mg pen was delivered on Friday - the one I managed to buy at the old price. The pharmacy emailed me the other to offer my next pen at a £30 discount. This will be purchased at the Mounjaro increased cost which went up on 1st September. As I will need a 7.5mg pen as I am titrating down doses, I've bought this with the discount from savings although I won't need to buy my next pen for a couple of months so will be able to replenish my savings pot. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

YESTERDAY'S PART TROIS - CLEANING UPDATE
Day 2 - Tuesday
Cleaning - This was the fridge. I cleared it out and washed down the inside, the door, the gasket at the back and the shelves and fruit/veg containers also lining these in fresh kitchen towel.
Organising - this was the shelves under the kitchen sink. Pulled everything out and went through all the products. It was worthwhile as I found doubles of kitchen spray and dishwasher rinse aid that I didn't know I had! Made a note of everything in there so I know what I have and need in future. Washed down the shelves before putting everything back.Maintenance- extra emphasis on Bedroom - dusted the furniture and vacuumed wall to wall.Day 3 - Wednesday
Cleaning - This was the freezer. I did this shelf by shelf cleaning the baskets, inside of freezer and door, sorting through the baskets and organising and tidying the contents.Organising - the Junk Drawer in the kitchen - I was sort of dreading this but it wasn't so bad once I got going. It just really needed a good tidying and I didn't need to throw anything away.Cleaning - extra emphasis on Bathroom - scrubbed the toilet inside and out, gave the shower area a good scrub and clean, vacuumed then mopped the floor.Day 4 - should have done this on Thursday but I went out for the day so left it till Friday!
Cleaning - The Pantry. This wasn't as bad as it could have been as I'd already did the two cupboards with spices, oils, condiments etc recently . The other two cupboards hold tins, packets, rice, pasta etc. I took everything out and cleaned the insides and out. Rearranged all the products so it now looks very tidy and very pleasing to the eye!
Organising - Food Storage Container Cupboard - I don't have a specific cupboard for this as I only have a few containers. These are kept in a pull out kitchen drawer with other largish kitchen items so I got everything out, cleaned the drawer and tidied everything up. Also threw away some out of date Covid tests that were hiding in there!
Maintenance - emphasis on Laundry Room - I haven't got one of these (or rather Utility Room as we call it in the U.K.!). So I just wiped down my washer/drier and pulled out the dispenser drawer and gave it a good scrub with white vinegar spray and a toothbrush. Also ran the washer cleaning programme.Day 5 - should have been done on Saturday but I decided to have a day off and left it till yesterday!
Cleaning - Hob, Oven and Microwave - these are clean as I keep up with things here as I go along. Plus I've hardly used the oven since I bought my air fryer so this was quite pristine inside really. I just gave everything a good wipe inside and out.Organising - was the Glasses Cupboard - again not much to do here. I got them all out and gave them a dust with a cloth and washed the inside and outside of the cupboard. I don't need to replace anything here as I had a sort out a few months ago.Maintenance - emphasis on Living Room - dusted everything and polished the mirror and wiped switches and door handles. Vacummed thoroughly. That's it! Today's routine to be continued! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
