  • A Friday again , comes round fast these days. The Covid test was negative on Monday and all LFTs have been so just a cough. It feels like it has got slightly better today .
Went into work on Wednesday and all was well there , I didn't let anyone within 6 ft of me just in case.
Today has seen me shopping , then should have been in Windermere but don't want to take my germs to a vulnerable person.
Been in my big cupboard to get some baby things out I am donating to my DDs MIL and whilst there got my Xmas decorations out and have decided to put them up . I am away next weekend from Thursday and busy the weekend after . Christmas songs are on as well .
Food prices seem to be going up and up even in Aldi , will be reviewing my budget in Jan and food, energy and petrol pots are going to have to go up.

Anyway back to the Xmas tree.
    Have a good weekend everyone.

Glad your cough is improving and that it’s not the dreaded Covid. I’m hearing of so many people with it at the moment it’s frightening.

I thought the same about the food prices in Lidl.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Xmas decs sound good. I have got mine out of the loft but not done anything with them yet!

Glad you are starting to feel better. There's nasty viruses going around. I've been ill too as has DD but it wasn't covid.

  • Quiet weekend in the end , went to babysit for DD Saturday night that went well. Went out to buy a travel cot yesterday for when youngest DGS comes on Fridays . Just got back home before the snow started and am very grateful to be working from home today . May try for a walk at lunchtime but I will see. Only 3 days working this week as am off to the North East on Thursday on the train until Sunday . Hoping the snow stays away whilst I am there .
Back to work and a coffee first.

Typical - I sent a travel cot that had only been used a few times for my gks to the charity shop when we had the house done. You could have it 😏
Take care on your walk if it’s anything like here….you’d need ice skates as it’s an ice rink 😳

Be careful out. Although the rain has come where I am and washed the snow and ice away. Could make things slippyer tomorrow though

  • Work has been very busy this week long days .
I am on a train now travelling to the North East it’s a glorious day and the scenery is beautiful .
I have realised I have forgotten my NT and EH card so will have to pay. Never mind lesson learnt don’t swap purses .
I am enjoying the rest already . There is still snow on the ground so glad I brought my warm cosy coat .
