  • I reported it this morning at 7.30am as it had got worse. The gas engineer was here at 9.30, went in the loft and yes I had two small leaks . He went and got the parts , went back up in the loft and the ceiling is now dry. I will wait until after Christmas to cover the water marks just in case.
I had DGS2 today and I am officially shattered , I forgot how tiring looking after a baby is , then collecting the other two from school. I am sure it will get better as the weeks go on.

Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

  • That’s good news about the leak.
Poor you!  I think I would be shattered looking after a small baby all day!  I’m really out of practice!

I think looking after children is very hard work - but rewarding if you enjoy it. I would be wiped.

    Glad your leak is fixed.

I bet you’re shattered……think it’s a lot easier when you don’t have the school pick ups to factor in. I’d forgotten how tying they were 😳😳

It is so lovely having dgc but totally agree it's very tiring! Toddlers move so quickly it's scary.
  • Another glad the leak is fixed. It’s worrying as it can affect so much.

I’m glad DD occupies herself now! It makes it easier! X

I retired last year and help look after my GKD’s after school and pre school, sometimes think work was easier. Though I love it and know I’m lucky with them living about 10 mins away as some of my friends hardly see their GKD’s.

Good news about the leak getting fixed, good job it wasn’t left till January, imagine the state of your ceiling.xx
