  • I have to confess I haven't seen Love Actually. Will watch it when I have my own home again. I didn't know it was a Christmas film.

UTI's can make you feel off balance so take care and hope you feel better soon.

There are lots of films I haven't seen as well.

  • Today is going very slow work wise , it's rather quiet which is very unusual. I am going to see my niece and new great niece after work, looking forward to it.
Tomorrow is my in work day , my friend will be sat behind me so we can have a catch up . I do enjoy my weekly trip to work.
The antibiotics seem to be kicking in , I feel slightly less uncomfortable.

Glad to hear you are feeling slightly better, there's nothing worse than a UTI x

UTIs are really horrible & the older you are the worse they can be.  You don't really get a high temp but you react as if it is very high.  I had a friend (over 80 at the time) who was actually in hospital on a drip & in a care home a total of 4 weeks, he had no idea what had happened and only remembered the last few days in the care home.  Really scary.

Fingers crossed that the antibiotics are doing the trick and you’re feeling back to normal. 👍

Love Actually is one of my favourite Christmas films. That and The Holiday.  Really mushy stuff but definitely 2 feel good films to watch on a winters day with a cup of hot chocolate and the fire on.

I love those too. I’m also partial to Elf and The Polar Express 😁

I love Christmas Carol too, the version with George C Scott as Scrooge.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I love A Christmas Carol too - my fave is the old version with Alastair Sim. Also White Christmas with Bing Crosby!  I always watch these at Christmas time.
