  • I am re registered at the doctors , they did apologise.
Eldest DGS spread Covid to his baby brother who was very poorly last week and also my daughter and son in law. Granddaughter came to live with me for a week and remained Covid free . We both had PCR tests yesterday and they are negative. She has gone home now after they are all out of isolation.
My shopping bill went up as DGD was here , she was very good .
Anyway this week nothing planned , my work laptop has been playing up and it took 90 minutes to get on the system today with help from the IT service desk. Looking forward to being in work tomorrow on a desk top computer .
A few people I know seem to have really bad colds that aren't Covid but have floored them. It's all those germs we aren't getting from being in lock down last year.
I have started my Xmas present buying in earnest now , have cut another one from my gift list it was a mutual agreement .
My list now is mum, dad, son, sister in law, daughter , son in law , 3 GKs niece and great niece plus one friend .
The weather here so far is not as bad as predicted so been for my lunchtime walk .

Sorry your family were poorly 😷 Covid and colds are doing the rounds. I think immunity is lower and people are seeming to be a lot more affected than previously.

    Enjoy work x

What a pain for your family with the Covid. I’ve heard of a lot of people not well with coughs and cold not Covid related but because everyone is mingling again after so long.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Good day in work, met a few more people I haven't seen since March 2020. Home for 2pm and back on the laptop.
Going to pick up Christmas presents after work that I have ordered . Made an appointment at the hairdressers, as my niece is not working owing to having had the baby .
Money seems to be flying out but it's all from the Xmas/ birthday pots .
Anyway ready to finish work soon .

You are doing well with Christmas presents. I have zero presents as yet :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

  • I’ve started on a few presents but not got loads yet. I usually wait until half term when I’m home for the delivery x

  • I have done the usual shopping today with my dad and a few other errands with them. Took them for their flu jabs as well.
I am hoping to have a restful weekend , just the normal housework , ironing etc. I am babysitting tomorrow evening the DGC , as it is their mums birthday.
The next 2 weeks are very busy with work and social outings , I hope I manage to do it all.
Have a good weekend whatever you are doing .
