Hi SG, you sound like you're always on the go and then some
3 weeks holiday is something to look forward to and September can be a lovely month. That's an excellent deal on the laptop and printer. Enjoy your Sunday dinner. x

walking is good in the heat too. It’s been so warm over here the last week.Sounds like a busy 6 weeks and then three weeks off into September will be lovely. Are you planning on going away?
enjoy the rest of your day xLife is an adventure, never stop exploring.3 -
Infection rate seems to be high in Tenerife. No surprises with tourists returning. I really miss my holidays abroad but it’s such a faff at the minute with the tests and forms 😪 3 weeks off work sounds fabulous 😍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I agree SA it's a faff , if I don't go I am going to see if I can do a bit of a road trip.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Laptop and printer sound brilliant. Glad your mum is on the mend.
It’s good that you managed a walk even if it was in the heat and good to get away on your own for a break from the parents.January spends - £587.582 -
Work was very busy yesterday but finished at 5.30pm . I spent an hour sewing name tags into the GKs uniform for September.I do this every year , don't know how I got the job.Today has been fairly quiet work wise , my printer has arrived .Later I am at the hospital for an X-ray and then parents to do the ironing .Haven't spent a penny since Friday and hoping not to today either .I need to order some dust sheets for when my ceiling is done in a couple of weeks.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Hope you're in and out of the hospital quick and the x-ray shows everything is OK.
I never sewed labels into any of the DC's clothes. I was the lazy parent who just put their initials on the labels using a big black sharpie marker.2 -
My mother used to sew my DSs labels in too & even more importantly the badges on his blazers. She took one look at one I did & took it home with her! You wouldn't think I used to make all my own clothes & have people ask me which shop I'd got them from. But sewing a label in was obviously well beyond me.

You’ll never know how the staff at school appreciate the labels and names. It’s surprising how many brand new items are lost in the first day….they’re all the same and they literally leave them everywhere 😂😂 We had bins of them with no name impossible to find your own from lost property…..and they’re not cheap.
Hope it went well today for you 👍January spends - £587.582 -
Wow you are doing well on not spending. I wish I was too!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
