My mum is doing well walking about on crutches and resting. We went back to the hospital Friday and all the dressings changed they were a right mess . Anyway moving forward now , she has the stitches removed on the 26th July, then follow up end of august . I am glad I took the time off as I can see my dad is looking tired and that is with me being there doing washing, ironing , housework. Cooking isn't an issue as he is a good cook.
Tomorrow I am handing the reins over to my sister in law and having a day out to Windermere, not looking forward to all the crowds but I am visiting my elderly friend .

The Ancestry DNA has led us to family around the globe , ones we didn't know existed . Photos arrived from Australia today for my mum.

My ceiling is finally getting over boarded on the 9th August after a 7 month wait , looking forward to it being done finally.
Payday today and all pots topped up for the coming month.

Have booked some activities for the DGC over the summer , managed to get some discount codes as well.

    Loving the weather this week.

All sounding good. The DNA test was a very worthwhile thing to do. Amazing to discover all that family.

Hello Sunshine. Well done on becoming debt free. I thought I'd read along if that's OK. Mum did an ancestry project quite a few years ago and got back to the 1700s but there was nothing as exciting as finding relatives abroad. x

How did it get to Sunday.

Tuesday was a lovely day spent in my favourite place , I managed to walk 7.5 miles in the heat but well worth it.
I have enjoyed spending times with my parents but sometimes it's been hard going and it would be lovely to share the time with a sibling.
Mum seems fine though and she is walking about on a crutch.
I have a very busy month coming up , I have hospital appts myself in the next two weeks , days out with the GKs and a friend.
Still need to fit mum and dad in , I won't be bored that's for sure .
I finish on the 26th August for 3 weeks and I am so looking forward to it.
Today have been to parents , done a 3 mile walk and am about to do some ironing. I am glad that the weather is slightly cooler .
Just cooking veg for my Sunday dinner later.

That’s a good deal for the laptop and printer.

walking is good in the heat too. It’s been so warm over here the last week.

Sounds like a busy 6 weeks and then three weeks off into September will be lovely. Are you planning on going away?

enjoy the rest of your day x
