After yesterday's news about Amber countries not having to isolate its looking more likely that we will be going on our rebooked flights to Tenerife early September. We are reviewing our options early August as things change very quickly.Looks like a gorgeous day outside , I am off to do the parents shopping and a cemetery visit.My mum is having an operation next Thursday so she will need to isolate only from Monday so may need to go to other places as well today.The Ancestry DNA came back they got my ethnicity spot on , they have identified a cousin on my mums side and already I have been able to add to my mums family tree . I have found my mums auntie , her dads brother and it would appear that they emigrated to Australia in the late 1940s as we suspected . We think her dad did as well so that's my mission now looking at passenger lists .I have also found relatives from both sides of parents family . It's interesting researching and I hope to do more in the winter.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

The wonder of technology , I have managed to find my mums first cousin in Australia and am speaking to them tomorrow , hopefully we might have some news for my mum about her family .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

The call to Australia was very fruitful, my mum overnight has gained 2 first cousins and possibly 2 half siblings . Her dad did go to Australia as well with his 2nd wife we still aren't sure he divorced my gran his first wife . He went to and fro from the uk staying in Oz and then back to the uk . As far as we know at the minute he died in the uk. Photographs are being found over the weekend in Oz and hopefully one of her dad will be in there.Quiet day today just housework, a long walk and watching films on Netflix .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
