The wonders of the internet finding families.
A few years ago I’d researched my grandads merchant navy ship that went down in the war. There was a photo of him…..I’d never seen a photo of him. Through this photo I found cousins in USA (I knew they existed but hadn’t heard anything about them for about 40 years) we now keep in touch- who knows I might get a trip,to Florida to see them one of these days.
Hope your mums hospital stay goes well for her. Are visitors allowed in hospitals yet ?

That's me finished until the 26th July , looking after my mum next week, she has had her op and is hoping to be home later on this afternoon/early evening.
I am off to babysit grandchildren soon, so parents can go and view a nursery for DGS2 to start in December .
It's payday tomorrow and I had completely forgotten , the months are flying by .
I seem to have some money over so will transfer to savings .
The weather is looking great , fingers crossed it stays  that way .

Apparently mum needed to use the bathroom , she pressed the buzzer as advised to, twenty minutes later no one had come so she got out of bed herself and used her crutches . In doing this both her feet started to bleed , but she said she had no choice either move or wet the bed . Then they forgot to give her anything to eat , you couldn't write it, so much for a private hospital. I have to take her back in the morning so they can look at her feet again , anyway she is home and in good spirits .

That’s really bad for any hospital let alone a private one 😡 Glad she’s in good spirits despite this farce.
