Another wishing DGS is better soon. I had the nerve testing not to long ago. Hopefully you’ll also be in and sorted soon.

I’ve never been to that museum, hope it’s a good one x

Yesterday was very pleasant , kids love messing and this children's place lets them do this. Glad we took our own lunch the cafe was rather busy. The journey on the motorway was not for the faint hearted . Anyone who knows the M62 from Manchester knows what it's like as you pass the moors , it was foggy, raining and lots of spray .
DGS looked a little better yesterday .
Today I am clearing the lounge for the workmen on Monday , having my ceiling over boarded at long last.
I think my lounge will need redecorating as well .
I am being very mindful over my shopping recently as I think food prices are still rising. Trying to get it under £25 for the week. I have increased my food budget by £40 a. On the but trying to be frugal.
I am going for my monthly treat at the beauticians in the next hour , will be about £30.

Lunchtime and a coffee for me.

Yes that motorway can be very grim…..and totally different weather from one side etc the other. It sounds as if you had a lovely day. Pleased to hear the little one is on the mend 👍

Glad you had a lovely day. I remember DS was particularly taken with the play shop area although it's probably 10 years since we've been so it might not be there now. Food prices are definitely rising. I'm trying to stick to around £100 a week but not worrying too much if I go over. There's always a week when something big seems to be needed as well. Enjoy your beautician's appointment, we all need to pamper ourselves/deserve a little treat don't we. :)
