It's been a saga the  ceiling, they didn't overboard they took it down. Today it has been boarded and  tomorrow skim. However the communication between the planners and customers is awful so I have no faith that it will happen. Redecoration needed in the lounge , the decorator has been this morning and let me know how many rolls of wallpaper I need .
Update on the family finding and the DNA test. I ordered my grandfathers death certificate and have now found my mum 1 half sister and 2 half brothers , they are between 9 to 17 years younger than her. I have made contact with the sister , she had no idea. We are speaking again next week when she has got her head round it . My mum knows nothing yet .

Tomorrow I am off to the north east , my friend who passed away last May is having a memorial service on Saturday, I am doing a reading about the part of her life I knew her for . Very fitting tribute to her , she is very much missed .

Ugh to the ceiling hope it does get done tomorrow.

I can’t believe the results from that DNA test, truly amazing.

Hope the memorial service goes well.

Hope the service goes well for you all.
😳😳 to the replastering……hope they get it sorted for you quickly. Are you having a change or something similar to what you had previously……doesn’t seem 5 minutes since you had it done when you moved in.

I bet it is a shock finding out there’s an extra sibling! That’s some DNA find.

I find a lot of workmen I’ve had in awful at communicating and getting things done when they should. Hope it goes ok x

Hopefully having the same paper it's still available in the shop . Yes the whole place was decorated before I moved in 2 years ago. It is what it is I guess.

Looking forward to being in a clean house rather than my flat which looks like a bomb site .

Morning SG :) I hate having anything done in the house lately, but it's a necessary evil sometimes. I'm not fully aware of the back story with the DNA, but is it something you did with a specific goal in mind, or did it just start out as looking into your family tree? Hope the service goes well, I'd consider it a real honour being asked to read. x
