  • The decorating will be finished today , carpets being cleaned Saturday and hopefully furniture back in on Sunday. I am staying at my sons until Monday .

Tonight I am meeting a friend in the big shopping centre for coffee and catch up.

Need to sort finances out in the next couple of days as obviously lots of spending has happened over the last week or so.

Plus need to factor in holiday spends .

Have a good day everyone .

Not yet we are waiting for the next update next Wednesday. If it stays Amber we are going I think. My DS is abroad at the minute and is enjoying it .
I did buy some euros in M&S tonight though , if we don't go will use them next May when my next cancelled holiday has been changed to.

  • Been to soft play at a large place today for 2 hours. Not as many people allowed as normal but still busy. Went with DD and the GKs .
Looked after them then whilst DD popped into work to discuss her days and hours when she returns mid December .
Then took DGD back to my flat , she played whilst I gave my lounge carpet a Hoover ,ready for being cleaned tomorrow. Furniture going back tomorrow night , SIL is doing that. Sunday is a big clean day , then breath and maybe think about going away the week after .

As much as I’ve hesitated in booking a holiday, those I know who have been abroad think it’s worth all the hassle. If the testing is still a requirement by next April I’m just going to bite the bullet and go.

    Sounds like you’re keeping busy.

Even if the requirements are the same next April hopefully they will be more normalise & not as much hassle - or as expensive

That’s what I’m hoping, they need to be more organised, more straightforward and cheaper than they are at the moment. A lot of people aren’t sure what they’re meant to be doing.
