Good morning
Thank you for the lists.Rain and gale force winds forecast here too - wind has started, rain won’t be far behind.
Flying today may just consist of wm and HHI. DH is bashing floorboards about in the tiny room. His main motivation is that I have conceded after realising that resistance is futile, and said that he can turn it into an office type room. As long as it gets him and his carp in one place, it’s a deal. But decorating is to my spec - I am seriously thinking a pink wall which he will turn his nose up at, just to see what he says 😈.DD is studying for exams in a couple of weeks. We both kept the WAC sentry last night, so it’s a slow, late start this morning.I had a cooking binge yesterday afternoon, so there is hm quiche sorted for lunch.
Coffee needed, then maybe HHI.
Hugs all round xx10 -
Dailies are done, dogs walked, bedding changed, bedroom flat surfaces dusted, second of three wash loads in machine.Spend less now, work less later.11

Thank you for the thread. I'm in.Big food shop done and put away, WM on but will need to dry indoors. No issue as the woodburner is already lit.Thank you for your kindness last week. I have dug deep and realised I cannot keep going as I am. This will be my last academic year at school. I run on empty all the time, I'm unhappy and I need to be true to who I am.Hens are happy, children are happy, dog is happy - I deserve to be too.11

Too right you do deserve to be happy ASB.
DW emptied, other pots put away, WUALTD so kitchen now clear. Ironing done. Bed made.
Pootled around looking for cheaper house insurance, found some which is about £29 less than me renewal quote, plus it's on Quidco so another £28 as cashback - and it's got free emergency and legal cover. It wasn't actually the cheapest - but that extra £3 above for about £30-40 quids worth of extra benefits - it's a no-brainer. Plus I will be leaving British Gas and I will be telling them it's because I disagree with Fire and Rehire. (because I do)

Hope Papa Round slept well in his own bed, and that your vision is improving, round xx
The persistent rain began here just as we finished our late breakfast, and since I am no longer of an age to enjoy the novelty of gardening in the drizzle and mud (I can just about manage a dog walk because Rosie needs the exercise) I decided to go mad and fly instead. So this morning I have
- sorted and filed all my loose paperwork
- done some finance stuff for church
- emptied and refilled the DW
- FUPA clean washing, so the bathroom is no longer Widow Twanky's domain
- helped DH with his compression stocking
- completed everything on today's list except clean the oven (not necessary) but including emptying the fridge and the 5-shelf baking cupboard and then putting everything back again - with the exception of a few mini marshmallows (oops! how did that happen?), an empty spice jar (its replacement was already there) and some food colouring BBE 2011
- continued hoovering all through the ground floor **even the utility**
- sorted out what we're eating for the rest of the day
Now just waiting for the kitchen floor to dry - another 10 minutes before I can get lunch, as the kitchen floor needs to dry
I might not do much this afternoon apart from making phonecalls and sending emails. At least I won't have to water the garden tonight

Whatever you decide to do next I hope you enjoy it ASB.Quite, Valli. I despise companies that make profits and then cut their workforce's pay.Belovéd decluttered on time for his train, and before I dropped him off I'd hemmed two napkins that had been hanging around like a bad smell so I can now put the stack away, and vacuumed an area that needed it. Afterwards, Doggo walked but not very far because she was seriously reluctant, DW unloaded, two surfaces cleared after a couple of years of being stacked tidily but oh how I hate cluttered surfaces. A bag of rubbish collected, sorted and put in the wheelie bin, food cooked for a few days so I can just nuke it when I want to eat and some emails dealt with. I was flat out for five hours and that's as much as I can manage so I'm stopping now. Animals all snoozing.Better is good enough.10

Hello xx
I was enjoying a chilled start to the day/ week when my presence was requested to sit with Papa Round while Barbara did the shopping and popped home for her slippers. So a couple of hours spent listening to Papa. Helped Barbara put away the shopping. Then walked home in the rain.
Hairdressers's appointment is at 4.15 . It's tipping down and cold here- definitely read a book weather.
My eye is slowly improving. Boris has shrunk, but is more mobile and so more annoying. My eye aches today but none of the 'go to A&E' symptoms 🙏.
I've fed the birds and put out the recycling. Laundry shuffle done.
To do:
Drop off Dad's window cleaner money
Get cash from hole in the wall
Hairdresser's appointment
Love to all

Dining room dusted and cleaned, including glass CD racks. The get rid pile has 6 CDs in plus an empty case. It is raining steadily here, and has for most of the day. The rabbits have gone back into their hutch. Hopefully the garden is getting a good and much needed drenching, and the water butt is getting topped up. And I'm procrastinating...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
