Toni's friend - don't write off May just yet! You've had some good days too - have a read back over your posts x

I know the feeling well @Toni'sfriend and what a great piece of advice @apple_muncher. Down days can cast wide shadows.
NSD 8/15 for me. I'm pleased with that, given I didn't get a NSD under my belt until the second week of this month!
I'm looking forward to the long weekend and a wee holiday in a caravan (which is free because it's DS's grandparent's). Planning to eat most meals in the caravan and will do a shop once we get there - there's an Al-dee just along the road from the site. Booked dinner one night at a local inn.
Grateful today for a good day at work, for ticking off tasks, and for getting some motivation to organise my personal email inbox ( a work in progress).NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7 -
Wednesday- still on NSD 15 but we have a decent amount of food in the house!
Rain again today- totally fed up of it now, really hoping the forecast is right and it starts warming up tomorrow.
My 15 minute housework bursts have been slipping- not sure why as it was working really well. I think I missed a couple of days and that was all it took to "lose the habit", but today I did a couple of short bursts of tidying and I can see the difference already so I'm publicly stating my intention to get back to it!
Grateful today that my phone-call parent/teacher meeting was very positive, I've agreed to go on a "night out"- slightly less grateful that I will have to get "dressed up" but it will be good to do something sociable, pony being a very good boy.7 -
A cold day in the far north. Slightly tricky time at work, but I've copied with worse! Today is the day our local paper is produced, so a very small spend as it was my turn to buy it (me & mum take it week about). Dropped sewing off, appointment with the nurse ticked off & just finished making another bear.
Grateful for a friend with a good listening ear, head teacher following up what was agreed on, more sewing jobs received.
Hugs to all ☺️Use it up, wear it out

Thank you everyone. You're right. Turtles don't give up and I have had some good days. Yesterday was NSD no 20 mostly because I spent most of it sleeping.
Today I'm feeling brighter. Changed to bedding and got a wash on. Done a few household things already and I'm going to try a few more. I was so tired yesterday that I couldn't find the energy to make the chicken and pepper tray bake that we were supposed to be having for dinner so we'll have that tonight, Veg to prepare for that so I think I'll do that first then I won't have the excuse not to later on.
Onwards and upwards.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
Hugs to everyone who's struggling (or if you want one). Get out there and carpe the heck out of this diem. I had a night of no sleep, just read my book when I realised it wasn't going to happen. It's been several months now - can't actually remember when it last happened. I used to have more 'awake all night' nights than sleepy ones, gradually got it down to 2 or 3 a week and when I had my beloved CPAP machine it quickly went down to one or two a month.
Have been out painting from shortly after 7 am (sets the alarm off if I go out before 7), lots of boards and buckets painted plus the back of the shed. Hoping to get 2 more coats on today but have had a shower and am wrapped in my dressing gown. Food coming between 11 am and noon so have to stay awake but may have a nap this afternoon and paint later (sun's getting a bit too hot now). Will sit outside from 11 am halving 2 l plastic bottles (they're in the trolley) as I have more stuff in small pots that are going to need a bit more space soon. All my bags for life are already by the door for the shopping. Hope to make the bed (lots of clean sheets) later .
Grateful for getting things done, possibility of a nap this afternoon, my wellies. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8 -

Well today is zoom training for my summer job, the young one is deep cleaning the bathroom - voluntarily! Nice. So all in all a good day, but just too much sitting. Am looking forwards to going swimming later. To make up for all of teh sitting. Should have been a NSD day but the young one needs more sports clothes! SO here we go.
Grateful for continuity and online forums to keep me focussed, even when I'm almost not.
