Today I am grateful for all the greenery, for a gym session, for half term arriving, for the potential to take dd to visit mum, for sharing some driving with dh.

I cleaned the shower screen this morning (I wrote it down). Since then I've been out in the yard - lots of moving stuff, levelling, putting in soil and plant support. The sun hid behind a blanket of yellow grey cloud for most of the day but it wasn't raining so I kept plodding. I hurt all over and there's so much more to do.
Grateful for getting stuff done, DS1, d-i-l and grandpuppy coming tomorrow, they are buying takeaway (I will make cake if I can move in the morning - I have olives, cheeses, sticks and dips). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
Friday- still on 15 NSDs, but I have bought a couple of little bits for DDs birthday. Crazy day at work, but finished on time and I'm off all weekend and the sun is shining so I'm hoping for a good couple of days.
Grateful today for a friend giving encouragement and advice, all our animals and DD and her friends having a great time in the park after school.5 -

Hi all
Been spendy the past couple of days, did a couple of big shops, bought 2 bottles of my fave wine on offer at 2 for £10Stocked up on some vegan items for DD2. Had a busy day at work yesterday but had a nice chat to colleague and we had a mutual moan about work annoyances too ! Dropped off 2 bags and a small table at CS.
DD2 came home last night, she has finished uni! Doesn't seem 5 minutes since we took her to uni.... She is very happy with her newly painted bedroom; needs new carpet and a blind but getting there.
I bought a new garden table off Fb that matches my bench, looks nice although the garden needs sorting. Friend has offered to help, we just need to agree a date.
Gratitudes - DD2 being home; 3 day weekend; sunshine to get extra washing dry (see first gratitude

Grateful for DH getting his second jab today, even if he has had to go to bed this afternoon, after nearly fainting after a bath. He is just feeling dog-tired and like his body is suddenly too heavy. Still, he is determined to be cheerful. So I baked him a cake for when he woke up. If you have to feel like poo, at least he can do it with a nice coffee and a cake. So he is as covered as he can be, and for that I am thankful and grateful and hopeful. And... utterly selfishly .... I have cake too! mwah ha ha ha ha!NSD 17.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Went outside this morning but not a great deal done - I gave up after the third time I nearly fell over (just tired and a bit dizzy, sort of lost my balance). Ironed one of the pieces of embroidery that is for DS1 and d-i-l (New home sampler) Found all the frame pieces and gave it to them to take home and put together. Also gave d-i-l a butterfly shaped lavender bag in her favourite colours turquoise and purple. Lovely visit with them and grandpuppy. DS1 has screwed the owl in a bit more than I managed (I am in need of new screwdrivers apparently).
Grateful for lovely visit, wonderful takeaway (I have leftovers), more hugs.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
Today I am grateful for my morning waddle, for dd having a great time at her dance lessons, for half term, for finally being realistic about the seeds I have and binning the majority of them (mostly over 10 years old - just why did I still have them, eh?), for big sis visiting mum.
