Good evening!
I'm sorry I have been awol. Thanks for the lists ladies - I will try and look at them tomorrow!
I have caught up on the thread.....
Pigpen please send my love to LW if it's not too late.
Round please don't overdo it - if you need to take time off they will cope (they will have to!)
Fayolle hugs to you and DD
ASB I hope the chickens have settled down, and you need to listen to the FLs and take time to look after yourself too
HB & Valli - wow! You 2 are rocking the flying & decluttering! I am in awe!
Hugs, sticks & spoons to anyone else that need them, including lurkers (Jojo?)
I spent the morning visiting a friend. We were both working, and spent the morning watching 6 young children play in her woodland amongst the bluebells - on the rope swing, looking for bugs, digging in mud & generally being children emersed in nature! Wonderful!! She is so lucky having that space. I think we both enjoyed the adult company too 😊
Grumpy dog has been to the vets again this week. He has finished his ABs, but still wears the collar of shame. He has had fine needle aspiration on about 6 lumps, and we should get the results in about a week.
Flying wise - things are ticking over. The house is ok - if you don't look too closely. I really want to declutter, but I am never sure where to start. The garden & allotment take up quite a bit of time as well, but I enjoy it so I'm not stopping! I find it quite grounding on my hands and knees with my hands in the soil! The boys have planted lots of sunflower seeds this week. If they all grow it will look amazing!!! I am hoping for some rain overnight....
Night night everyone! I hope the WAC is deserted tonight....

YL.. Many years ago we had a family friend with low platelets associated with his leukaemia. He had a nose bleed and they couldn't stop it at all and tragically he lost his life that day.. it was such a shock and so sudden, he had been at work all day and then was gone.. their little girl was only about 3.. It was about 30 years ago and you'd hope medicine had progressed since then. My girls have had a couple of close calls with A&E and nosebleeds.. they are awful.. Pixie has come out of school looking like someone tried murdering her on a few occasions, I had to bin one of her dresses one time because it simply wouldn't come out.. it was like a horror movie.. She is the worst of the 4. When she broke her nose I honestly didn't think it would ever stop. Most of mine are very prone to epic nose bleeds.. but the 4 smalls and Boog are the worst..
GI.. yes I shall pass on your message too.. and I added yours YL.. I'm posting tomorrow but will check back here before I do for any others.

Morning all xx
I'm up and dressed. My bed is made and lunch is packed. I will feed the birds and put out the recycling before I head to the paid stuff.
I covered my lens with a tissue yesterday while working on the computer screen. It was certainly much better. I'd had enough by 3.50 but I leave at 4.30 so not too bad. And I soon recovered once I got home. Boris is definitely smaller so hopefully we are heading in the right direction. If anyone had offered me a sick note I'd have snatched it with glee but no-one has. And I'm not good at asking. Wuss!!! Anyhoo I've booked next week off as Annual Leave so 🤞 that will help.
Valli - what are you on? I want some!!! 🙂
Love to all. Look after yourselves.
Rxx
PS I love that Naggy Nora is now making independent trips to the Southwest. If she meets up with Wandering Willi who knows where they'll end up 😃IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme9 -

Good luck with arty crafty project Kazwookie.Thank you for sharing the poem Valli. I think you and I are on the same page regarding the need for them - it's pure rage that fuels the energy I need to be as involved as I am, and that rage is just as strong now, three and a half years after I started there. They got me working at my interview!(((Hugs))) Fayolle.GI, it's taken me several attempts at decluttering to get to where I can now do it this productively. Kon Marie doesn't work for me and results in me feeling completely overwhelmed surrounded by mountains of stuff I then have to cram back into the space so I end up feeling very disheartened and very reluctant to try again, and keeping turning out the same spaces in the way I'd been doing for years had done as much as it could. I had to find another way of doing it, and finally chanced upon Dana K White on YouTube, who's early blogposts and videos are absolutely the most straightforward about the chaos she was living in when she started nine years ago; co-incidentally roughly when I started Flying. She also makes me laugh which always helps. Where to start? Her version is - You start on the thing that annoys you most, or is the most obvious - in her case it was the washing up (seriously, her house was overwhelming her so much that was what was the most upsetting and obvious). What I've found works for me to get me started this time around and keep going was having a cardboard donateable donate box and a rubbish bag with me when I'm doing it, as she says, and that you only take one thing out of the space you're dealing with at a time. If you're going to keep it, it goes to the place where you'd look for it first, or put aside for putting back into the space if that's the one that's being turned out, or the donate box, or the rubbish bag. No matter how much or how little you do, how big the space is, or how long you've got, whether you're interrupted or not, whenever you stop your house will be a bit better because you'll just have a box that can be donated with stuff in it, and a rubbish bag. That's it.Am I using it?Do I need it?Do I love it?If not let it go.Yesterday I did the cupboard behind the bed, although I'd only opened it to replace some scruffy boxes with some new L!d1 ones. There was virtually nothing of mine that was donatable but I gave Belovéd a shoebox of his stuff that had been there for 25 years, and I did chuck out some out of date medicines. He gave me back a small 4" round pot, and he'd ditched the rest. The shoe space in my wardrobe is a delight for the first time in 27 years thanks to being ruthless, and those new boxes.Today I'm back to my office to do the things I've been meaning to do this week, the leftovers that haven't been done because I run out of steam very quickly and have to stop. One space at a time here.Better is good enough.9

Hello all. Get well vibes heading to whoever needs them and hugs etc as appropriate.
First work shift done. DH has done the dailies and I'm just back from a long walk with poppet. Littleydog didn't want to come. Going to finish second baby blanket while wait for a delivery and I've another work shift later.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
I reckoned that my guag was having way too much fun with Valli, so it was told to get back here just for a couple of hours, then it could go back again.I have:
cleaned bathrooms
Cleaned upstairs and kitchen windows
vacuumed through except for the stairs (cba) and DR (DH wfh as ever and on a call)
changed bedding, washed and hung outside
Mopped kitchen floor (yuk, can’t remember the last time that happened).
Guag has now been sent packing. I need to go and pick up DD in an hour, then we will be hanging about waiting for the dreaded consultant call.
HoneyBear - interesting. Konmarie never worked for me either. I think you have a distinct advantage over me in that your OH has signed up to the cause. There is resistance here from that quarter - DH has thrown out some things already this year so he thinks that gives him a get out of jail card for the rest of the year, if not longer.
Piggers - I hope the headache has cleared.
Kaz - wandering off to collect driftwood sounds like a blissful morning. Although I would struggle to turn it into something that in my mind was so easy...8
