Decorating is never ending!I still need a few bits in the hallway which I can’t do until I’ve had a socket fitted.. and the other back landing needs doing.. I need measurements off that first.. I might do those now actually!I left my bedroom without a thing so I shall go back and get 2

Painting as finished as I can get it.. I need some paste to stick down some errant corners and the shimmy into a gloomy corner but we are almost up to putting things back.. I have a corner needs another coat but needs to dry a bit first. I am doing the radiator once the furniture is sorted.. all the miscellaneous junk is gett shved out of the room until the stuff we need is in place.
5x WM
3x TD
I did have stuff on the line but it's drizzly so the TD's are on.
The bleached pillow protectors look much nicer.. still discolured but much better.
I am very happy.. I have annoyed the annoyingneighbours with my 80's rock ballads... Good old Michael Bolton was the final straw.. hahaha...
Oh.. alcoves... would it be utterly bonkers to put mirror roll on them.. OH thinks I am crazy but I think it will be amazing.

Iona you are so clever.
HB DH will not part with anything. I was sorting the understairs cupboard and found his old bike helmet. No-one needs 2 bike helmets do they? I didnt think the CS would take it even if it looked new and clean, which it didnt. It went in the bin. DH doesnt know.
Pigpen I like the idea, it will make the room look really bright, go for it.
Anyway, speaking of cycling we have done a nice 22 mile ride with a coffee and cake stop. Really pushed on coming home because it was starting to rain and feel a bit sick now.
Quick trip to the shops for some essential food items. Have also washed 4 winter coats.
Tomorrow looks a washout, will be an indoor day I think.8 -

Thanks YL - but the ideas come from YouuuuuTouuuube or off Goggle Images. I did enjoy making them, though
Today I
- visited the WAC several times but didn't put the light on so didn't spot anyone else
- tidied the trousers and pullovers in my bottom drawer, folded Kondo style so that they stand up on one side (it's one of the few things I have adopted from her system) so that I can actually see what I've got in there; threw out an old pair of leggings and a painting t-shirt
- went to church and talked to real people (socially distanced of course)
- shopped for Rosie's chewy sticks and bought more plants, including a lovely maroon and white orchid for £5 - thanks Mr Wil
- put lunch on the table
- drove to the Edge because I wanted to get some fresh air and see a distant view; DH came too but stayed at the bottom and read his book (no ice cream van today to distract him) while I took Rosie for a longer-than-usual walk
- made a cuppa for us both when we got home
- mowed the lawn and watered some of the pots
- made another cuppa for us both
- put our evening meal in the oven
- finally remembered to take the April sheet off the calendars that DGS3+4 gave me
***Rant alert***
- got cross with DH for making miserable faces at me when I asked if we could watch a favourite TV programme of mine, rather than the News which he can watch later - it seems that this weekend, no matter what I say, it's wrong, or else he tries to convince me that a downturned mouth does *not* mean that he disapproves of / disagrees with what I'm saying !?!?!???? - so I have left him alone with the TV zapper and retreated upstairs until I need to go and prep the veg.
***Rant over***
Pigpen, I don't think I could cope with too many full length, full height mirrors in a living room - with my shapely(?) curves, one in my bedroom is quite enough, thank you! They will double the light and make the room feel more spacious, but the downside is that they will also double any clutter. I love those photos of the girls that you had hanging on the chimney breast. I remember you put them up on the thread when you first had them taken, and they reminded me of the lovely blue and white sun dress that I made for my DD when she was about 6 - it consisted of 4 different tiers of blue flowery material with shoulder straps, and it lasted her for 3 summers because I made it so long!7 -
