Wow, Pigpen and Ionafan - the room and the cakes and cards look wonderful!  Fabulous cracking on. 

Ionafan, the woman who dogsits for us told me about L!ck-e-L!x and I now don't have the slightest problem getting the cats and Layla to take tablets.  They're made by Webb0x, and come in boxes that are about 1cm x 20 cms x 10 cms, usually on the top shelf in Sainsbobs above all the millions of packets of Dreamies.  In each box there are five tubes of gunk, and a smear of that glues the pill on a piece of chicken which I then fold over for Layla.  She's back on a mountain of pills in the mornings and I've never had less trouble dosing up a dog.  Wonderful stuff.

I will be decluttering Belovéd to the London train on Monday and am mightily pee'd off that I don't have the time and energy to pull together another carload by then.  I like to combine my journeys.  However, as he's away for at least four days that gives me plenty of time to work without interruption on stuff he'd have the vapours about if he saw it all leaving the house.  What the eyes don't see the heart doesn't grieve.  'Oh, you mean that old thing?  You said you didn't need it any more.  It went years ago.'  It doesn't count as long as my fingers are crossed behind my back, right?

Iona.. they are fantastic cakes! DD1 would love that Lion card for Lionel! lol I have no patience for baking.. it is messy and I hate cleaning up after! lol

HB.. I will add it to my shopping list.. I have wormer for all 8 of the fur monsters.. They are getting flea'd tomorrow too.. they were due today but I've been busy and now I am too tired to fight them. thank you. and if you say you threw it out 'a while ago' you don't need to cross your fingers.. you didn't specify long while or short while so you're not telling porkers!

Here in Valliland Poppy at takes her flea tablets as they come...no buttering, nothing.  I don't even need to hold her.   *shameless boast post*

i have been to the hairdresser and I have a fringe again! 
Ive also made curried squash and lentil soup and chicken satay.   Taken 5 frozen portions of stuff from kitchen freezer out to shed freezer, have stuff currently freezing, too.  And my bed has clean bedding...

Valli.. mine have the flea spot on things which are fine, I feed them and put it on while they are pigging..but the wormer tablets are huge, Nutkin hates them and Hazel has wobbly teeth so we have to be really careful.

Manhatten grey this room.. and I bought it for £10 for a 10L tub 6 years ago in the sale at Argos.. I didn't know I had had it that long.. I have shaaaaame!!!! I thought it might be too dark but it is nice once it's dried.. I am so pleased I flung myself into just getting on with it.. OH thinks I am bonkers because I just say 'I am doing this' and immediately get it done when it has been a 'gunner' job for years! ... I'm gunner do it! My male ex-parent is a gunner.. never does a thing, but definitely gunner do it all.

I've been in the middle room and done the 'that's going there and this is going here and I'm doing that and flinging those'... I know what I am doing and it all has to be done tomorrow.

I think we need to put some of that non-slip rubbery stuff under the tv to protect the top of the cupboard but also stop the tv sliding off.. and I believe I have some stashed somewhere.. I even know where it is .. if we still have it and I haven't given it away.

I have 3 ebeast payments to chase.. this is the bit I hate!! and 16 to list to bring it back to 100.. that is probably the basket of stuff I have in my room so I will have a look at that on Tuesday when the beasties are in school and OH is inevitably at the gym.. I like the gym!!!

Anyway.. I GUNNER go to bed.. I have a mountain of washing to put away before I can get in it.. and most is not for my room!

and I hope my breathing is better tonight.. I have had low O2 levels the last few nights.. We don't know if I have sleep apnoea, it's asthma or hayfever related or due to the drug use next door making a stink.. it does mean my sleep is not restful though.

Iona the cards / cake look great

Sun is out and warming up the lounge, cat asleep in sunshine on rug, I use spot on for flees, and the same for wormer but I cannot remember what it is called, get it from the vet, last for 3 months, about £8, but I only have one cat, back of the neck while he is eating.

We are off to walk around a car boot later, plus today is the day I sort out what pictures are going on what wall, they have sat outside the bathroom, in bubble wrap since the move took place (11 months) what is left over is off to the local auction house, just to get them out of the way, then I will have to revitalise the carpet.

2nd coat to do on the hanging plant rack.

Good jobs, Iona and Piggers.  Piggers, if you are ever at a loose end 🤣, I have a house that needs completely decorating…and has needed it since we moved in 15 years ago. 

Kaz - is it really nearly a year since you moved?!
In the WAC from 2am till 6am, keeping Valli company. Had a lovely sleep then until 8.30.
DH has gone to the allotment again.  This could end up being A Good Thing - he hasn’t had any exercise or enough fresh air for years!
I have a list of cooking type jobs for today, I also might try to get an hour in the back garden when DD is up and settled.

Gosh you all seem to be so busy, productive and creative.

Yesterday OH helped me remake fitted sheets for the oddly shaped boat beds (big triangle and lopsided rectangle).  Involved repoving the elastic, pinning in corners, sewing and adding elastic.  Definitely much better now.  They have been rewashed along with the protectors and are ready to go to the boat on Wednesday.  DD1 is coming with me so it will be nice to have company in the car and help to carry.

One of my cats is fine for worming tablets, the other puts up a bit of a fight but tuna does the trick.  But brushing is a different game.  Never had to brush them but now the fluffy one is getting old she doesn't groom enough and last summer ended up having a general anaethetic to be shaved.  So I now try and brush her if I think it's starting to build up, but what a battle.  We did try starting when she was a kitten but she has never taken to it.  So it is now a battle whilst she has her favourite treats.  Other cat just purrs!

DD1 and OH gone cycling so have the house to myself whilst listening to Sunday morning love songs, my idea of heaven.  

Next  going to make homemade burgers to bbq, hoover and try and sort my wardrobed a bit.

I'm dressed, have s&sd bathrooms and scrubbed kitchen sink. I've made a start on dailies. Only wash load of the day is in machine. Dog walk next.
