ASB It sounds as though you need some time to just be. (((hugs)))Towels sorted which means I'm moving on to sheets and then shoes. After that I'll hem the two shower curtains that will hang around like a bad smell if I don't do it right quick, then sorting through two boxes of stationery in my office that have been hanging around for days. Then ironing of the pile of washing from clothes that had been in the attic for years that I want to keep - not many.I'm not sure what comes next but it will be another easily and obviously definable category in a small space, not a room or all my clothes. I am not a fan of creating a mess when I'm supposedly tidying and decluttering; it just makes me feel worse not better so it's not conducive to doing a good job. Possibly the 'blacks and colours' drawer. I don't seem to delve into that very often so it appears that although I think I like those clothes I don't appear to actually want to wear them. I need somewhere to store pjs and nighties, plus swimming things. They may belong in that drawer - let's see what happens later or tomorrow.Belovéd warned me this morning that the recycling bin is almost full, with another six days to go. It's almost as if I regard it as a moral failure on my part if the three wheelie bins aren't full now but that's much too early! And I need another half car load to take to the CS and/or tip. Wonderously, this whole house is actually looking a million times better already, and the really heartening part of it is that I know the cupboards and long term storage areas all have space in them. It's such a relief after decades of living life surrounded by stuff crammed everywhere. I think I even left quite a bit in an attic above the flat I sold when I bought this house. I've never been brave enough to go back and ask, and as it was 30 years ago I doubt it's all still there now, but who knows? The only thing I mind about are the course notes from agricultural college (just two files!) which was the first acadmic success I ever had, at the ripe old age of 28. I'd failed everything up until then so those files marked the turning point in my life. Still, the science has moved on and computers were only just being brought into offices so it's all totally out of date but they were important to me.Better is good enough.9

ASB make time for you, have a rest for a bit.2 hours of volunteering gardening done, dogs put in house so they were not sitting on my back as I bent over, or licking my face, made a dent in the weeds, found a couple of flower beds, the lady sorted out her greenhouse and asked me to move the big heavy stuff for her, no car ride took place as we couldn't agree on face masks, but I suggest a local shop who did home deliveries of compost, plants, so she did go and ring them to find out, lo and behold, she made an order and a delivery will be made of Thursday to her, free of charge, result. She asked me back for next week.OH reckons us FL's should between us open a 'tat' shop
to sell all our 'items of interest' he says we will make a fortune, I have pointed out the distance and the practically of it all.
More eby listings to list, first lot that are paid for posted, 5 ended with bids waiting to be paid for, 4 more with bids to finish in a day or so, I am happy with this, fling = ££just taken 91 photos to upload
If I get done with eby listings, I am going to cut the grass, as they reckon we will get rain tonight or tomorrowBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kaz.. I am back down to 95 items listed. In one way it is wonderufl i have to keep topping up the listing but it is constant! I just sold something I have had listed for a while so very pleased about that. I had 3 of one item which I listed one at a time last night and they sold in minutes.. obviously too cheap!I need to pay my mother back for the washing machine so that is where the first bit of money is going.. the next bit I need to pay DD3 back .. but I will need to use some for food this week, OH gets paid a week on Frieday and we have empty freezers at the moment.. we will all look like pasta very soon! I want meatballs and sausages today I think. I have fish for me and dippers for Squeak. OH gets what no one else wants lol. I have loads of tins of beans etc.
I need to email the LA re swimming lessons in primary school.. they need to sort something out for catching up the missed lessons for yrs 3 and 4 and plan for the current year 2's .. I think they should play catch up on years 3/4 asap and do current years 1/2 in 2 years time the same.. a couple of our leisure centres are closed for renovations so it is very tight..

Lots achieved this morning. Food prepped, car washed so DH only has his to do tomorrow and some gardening. This afternoon's leisure activities have been attempting a crossword and finishing one of my baby blankets. Just finishing the last of the Xmas treats so I can concentrate on getting slinky then I'll walk it off with the dogs.Spend less now, work less later.7

I’ve done absolutely nothing of any use today, which means that I am now pacing like a caged tiger. Or would be if I could be bothered. But I have had my hair chopped - about 5” off so it feels all light and swishy.I have looked at the greenhouse but abandoned through lack of interest, ditto some long standing dressmaking, flicked the duster around the bedroom, and have just wasted an hour searching out the diversion for some roadworks which will essentially close small town for the day tomorrow. Absolutely crazy distance, just how people are supposed to get to school and work, I don’t know.8

Hello xx
I've made the bed, fed the birds, put out the recycling, done a morning's paid stuff, came home, ate a quick lunch and then H picked me up and took me to the Eye Clinic. She brought me home again too. 😉 Eye Clinic want me back again next week and probably weekly until it becomes fortnightly. They want to keep an eye on me 👁 until the bleeding stops- in case the retina tears or detaches. I told the Dr that I'm struggling with the computer screen at work and he's told me to try covering the glasses lens on my bad eye and just use my good eye. Sounds like a plan 😉
Papa Round is improving- not exactly in leaps and bounds given that he had a hip op., but astoundingly quickly, given the shaky start. They have had him walking with a frame on the ward today. Woot woot.
Any ideas on how to occlude my right eye for work tomorrow?

Round.. excellent news re Papa Round. Occlude an eye? I suggest a pirate eye patch.. Aaarrrr!!! I have a stuffed parrot.... No?? So you are supposed to wear a face mask and an eye patch?? Maybe a balaclava with one eye hole stitched shut? a pant liner on your face? I swirly headscarf wrapped around... oh... how about a Pudsey Bear spotty bandana and shake a collection tin at everyone who bothers you ???? Yep.. I'd do that... Pudsey Round!!
I have a sleeping Twinkle..
Apparently Dot has seen the Speech and Language person at school the last 2 Mondays.. so I had a moan I wasn't informed and I need to be informed of EVERYTHING... before and during and after.. I am needy like that, being her parent.. Yes I DID sign the forms 8 months ago.. surely an email saying Dot is seeing this person today yada yada... is not an unreasonable request.. now I know why she was being supr freaky when she came out of school yesterday.. a strange person spoke to her.. I wonder how ling they were in the room before she said 'right I'm bored now can I go back to class?' Her speech is perfect apart from a rather cute lisp which she loves, even if a little unfortunate with 4 S's in her name!

Round I had to wear a patch for years as a child. No-one was particularly worried about how kids thought they looked in those days, so they just used to put cotton wool over the closed eye and then sticking plaster from above the eyebrow to cheek, and then cross ways. Or you could buy a Pirate Patch, which I graduated to after a while, but used to flick up when I wanted to read. Nothing worked to make the lazy eye work harder anyway.Bedding finally all sorted. I kept a few that a minimumalist would have donated, but I'm not a minimalist and lodgers and dogs have a way of going through sheets - she digs on the bed. But they fit in their storage areas so they're staying. In the end the donate pile filled a largish suitcase which Belovéd wanted to donate anyway.I've decluttered Layla to the tender care of the vets because I'm worried about her. She's due to be xrayed this evening, possibly without the need for sedation, because I've a horrible feeling the lamb rib she ate two weeks ago has punctured something. I hope not, because just the xrays are eye-wateringly expensive but she was very sorry for herself this morning and won't even eat chicken. Now, on to shoes.Better is good enough.10
