Half a car load delivered to the CS, Layla dropped off at the groomer's (hurrah!), Foodbank stuff dropped off, visited Mr L (which has Padron Peppers at last!) and another load put through the WM. Two of the stack of five shower curtains have never been used and are our spares because it's hard to find 2m long plain white ones. Two need to be shortened and will then be too short for us but will look brand new so can go to the CS, and one is in WM to see if it scrubs up smart enough to be donated. Two bath sheets and some tea towels donated to the musician neighbour on the way who had all his commissions cancelled at the start of the first Lockdown but never once whinged and is now back in the groove composing again - charity begins at home and he's a lovely bloke. The CS won't miss those few bits and pieces given that they'll be getting another half car load later in the week.I've got to pick Layla up at 4.00 pm so no time to deal with shoes and sheets today, but Lidl have sets of six see thru' boxes for £7.99 with lids that will sort out shoe problem at bottom of the wardrobe. I'm not sure how many pairs I'll be keeping but I need to decide that very quickly to see if I'm going to need them.Better is good enough.9

A certain little girl came out of school with uncomfortable tootsies..
No idea what is wrong with the chlidren today, they are all very flappy and blowing about in the breeze.. One tried getting run over to pick up a dropped cardigan.. thankfully I had hold of her hand. 2 lagged behind, 2 tried running in front, 1 get left behind scratting in her bag and had to catch up, they all stopped in the school gate right in front of me, 1 dropped her drinks bottle. Honestly.. madness ensued.
OH is being banished to make tea and to the PO and I shall do food... not sure what, but food.. I might just beans on toast them so they can go to bed early.

Been beach combing, brought back drift wood, and some fossils. The old lady I am going to do volunteer gardening phoned, she wants to know from me (I don't know this lady) what colours would suit her garden, how plants does she need, and what plants won't her loft of fancy pigeons eat? how the hell am I suppose to know, I suggested I cleared the weeds first to see how much space there is........... then she asked if I would drive her to the local garden centre to choose plants, she has a car and does drive, we had a discussion over face masks etc, she says she won't wear one as she is old and if she dies it doesn't matter! Well it matters to me............face mask or no trip in the car.........simples. I might get a GC that deliverers, or get the money off her first and go on my own, or suggest she goes on her own and ask the GC to load her car and I can unload when she gets back.Eby gone mad, 3 items have bids, another 10 items have 'offers' so going to think over night what to do, I still have a load more stuff to put up.Washing off whirly, folded, away or in the ironing pileThe cat has been sacked from being my eby assistant, as he keeps playing with the newspaper these items are wrapped in while I take the photos.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Just catching up...thank you for the thread and for last week’s. I intend to join in, although motivation is low. I need a good kick with a fluffy mule.
School drop off and pickup done, nurse appointment done, crammed in paid stuff for as much as I could, 1 load of washing dried and ironed, dinner cooked, kitchen tidied to some extent, small but costly top up shop done. The grocery budget has gone out of control over this last month as I try to tempt DD to eat. Shattered as we are operating on just a few hours of very interrupted sleep a night.
Pigpen - please can you send LW my love and very best wishes, and tell her much she is missed here.
Kaz - the cat eby assistant made me smile!
Hugs to all x9 -

Kaz, I don't know what is wrong with people on ebeast.. I think they have all got spend happy with shops reopening and throwing money willy-nilly. I've had 3 more bids and 2 more sales this evening.. not huge amounts but better than a poke in the eye!
I'm having hayfever meds and off to bed.. I am done with today.. if the neighbours are making my house smelly I am reporting them to the police again.. and EH .. and everyone!!!

Morning all
I spoke too soon yesterday- I got home from work to the aftermath of a chicken fight 😢😢they’re all okay, but I had to dispense lots of cuddles, antiseptic spray, and tell the cockerel off for being such a meanie - he’s been great with them this far, protecting them and not pecked once. Anyway, after dealing with that, cooking dinner, dealing with the DW, getting small people in bed, it was almost four hours later and I still had my work clothes and badge on!
I am absolutely worn out but it’s just because of life, nothing more sinister as my blood tests confirmed. I haven’t relaxed in such a long time now, I think I’ve forgotten how to relax so my body is always in fight or flight mode. Anyway, I digress.
I’ve let the chickens out, made a cuppa, made DS a fruit salad to have with his milk and DD is still asleep. We need to leave soon so I need to get dressed and rectify this!
Love to all xx

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Only things on my list today are bathing the dogs and washing the hard floors around dailies and dog walking. Anything else will be a bonus.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
ooh... rain... first time that has happened in a while the plants will be happy.
everyone banished to school/college.. they might actually be on time today because no one was fighting getting ready.
ASB... add at number 1 on your list after your dailies EVERY DAY... 'half an hour of ASB time'.. you are use to neither chid nor beast if you burn yourself out and make yourself ill. All work and no play makes your immune system useless and your heart unhappy.. You need to look after yourself too.. what would you say to us if we had just written that?
Squeak left her water bottle at home so we are taking that in and I may insist on a tip run to get rid of some polystyrene and bed bits and a bag of charity shop clothes.
I am starving this morning so I may go stick the kettle on and forage..
I have Ebeast parcels to pack up and post.. 3 4 so far and one ending later..
